I think this is overstated. This was a C-level speech and a younger Democrat would not have made the mistake of using the word “illegal,” which drew condemnation from groups Biden needs.
He did a good job reading a speech just like he did last year. And it will be quickly forgotten, just like last years.
Anybody who thinks he “proved” anything and put the age issue away is deluded.
It proves that he’s a lot more coherent than Trump. It proves that Republicans are more stupid than I thought they was especially with that dumb ass response from the Alabama senator.
It doesn’t, though. That would have to be demonstrated over months, not one hour and a half speech.

He didn't assault anyone. He was exonerated of all charges in connection with the Times Square brawl with NYPD police officers. Officers called it a case of mistaken identity.

The problem is that on social media false information spreads faster than facts, and when the truth comes out, the truth spreads with a whimper because the outrage is absent and those who spread the falsehood don't even spend a fraction of the time correcting their mistakes.
This happens on both the right and the left. It's up to us to spend as much time correcting the falsehoods as we do spreading them.

Last night on MSNBC, Jonathan Capehart was a host and he said Biden “forcefully answered the pundits who say he is too old” and read a headline claiming “Biden silences the doubters.” He read one that said “So much for Sleepy Joe.” He then said “the president didn’t just clear the senility bar, he demolished it.”
I just listened again— These are verbatim quotes. The Sleepy Joe narrative is dead after one speech according to much of MSNBC. Just cheerleading and lying.
The statement was about his stuttering and that was what I responded to.
He offered a tougher immigration bill and congress squashed it to appease Trump
