just finished it & DAMN that was fucked up!!! as bad as that was, i understand. now it looks like Shane has turned Heisenburg on us. sice this seems to be going day to day i don't see them leaving anytime soon cause it's gonna take Carl a minute to recover. this shit is ALL Sofia's fault.

Why take that risk?
I think the girl was found and is with another group some place. (maybe the Governor?) No way she could have survived that long all alone.
That's if she is still alive. They might have her show up as a walker and the pushes her mother over edge.
Shane is not a bad person in general. He wasn't cheating with Lori, he assumed Rick was dead. He was taking care of Ricks family, which he had started to see as his own family, that's why he had to make sure he got the supplies back to them by any means.
It was fucked up though.

Y'all are looking @ this very simplistically...it was not something on his mind but an absolute last resort...and they wouldn't have been in that situation if it wasn't for fat boy...survival of the fittest...no rules under the zombie apocalypse...survival of self + loved ones is the ONLY rule...this was a good ep...I just wish they'd stop dragging the missing lil bitch storyline

Yes when the zombies swallow him after eating him as we seen @ the end of the last ep....his chewed up remnants will serve as a homing device that will lead the zombies by their stomachs to the fuckin farm...sometimes I wonder if I'm watching the same show as some of you niggas

I figured Shane was gonna have to shoot that dude to get away anyway. Dude was just moving too slow and they didnt have enough ammo to shoot their way out. In the situation most people would have done the same shit, especially seeing how Otis shot Carl in the first place.

Yeah exactly... it isn't like this dude is evil, he made a decision at the last second to survive.... unfortunately that meant bad news for Otis. I think many people in this thread would be more capable of this than they realize. This ep was way better than the last 2 but something about the pacing is still fucked up compared to S1.

Fuck all that, two can survive better than one. There is strength in numbers so I would not sacrifice anyone. During a zombie apocolypse you need as many niggas on your team as possible. Not just loved ones but niggas who can throw down with you whether you are fighting zombies or crazy humans. And niggas bugging talking about this season isn't good. I like the storylines so far. Seasons off to a good start in my opinion.

co-sign this! People tripping on this episode need to realize, this happens to EVERYBODY in the comic as it goes on. The "heroes" get ruthless as a fuck. ESPECIALLY Rick and Carl!
This episode shows me that Kirkman is on top of things, making sure that you always get that fucked up occurrence to shake things up.

If Shane had a warm fuzzy heart about the situation him fatboy and Carl woulda ALL been dead...I can't realistically say what I'd do in that situation but I understand it as a calculated move w/ 2 lives out of 3 being saved instead of losing all 3 lives...and that makes more sense giving your strength in numbers logic

This young Filipino cat I work with bought up a major point about the fact that all the BLACK folks Down South, and all they have in the cast is Jackie (who died last season) and T-Dogg?
Not ignoring Morgan and his son of course.
But you're sure as HELL are seeing a lot of Black zombies.
Just not a lot of LIVE Black folks.

how is he dirty? he did nothing wrong in my eyes...at least the episode brings up a good argument about whether what Shane did was morally correct or not and makes you question if you would've done the same in his position..

I'm having trouble adjusting to the fact that the cast most likely won't change much unlike the comic where new characters are/was constantly being introduced.
My hopes for the show.
1. Kill Tdogg
2. Introduce Tyreese,Michonne and the Governor.
3. The Prison scene
4. Kill Undead Tdogg
5. The Cannibals scene
I'm having trouble adjusting to the fact that the cast most likely won't change much unlike the comic where new characters are/was constantly being introduced.
