just finished it & this is what i'm thinking. as was said above, there were no zombies in this episode aside from the 1 in the well that wasn't a threat. since this season is to be broken up into 2 parts i gotta feeling that the last episode of the first part is gonna be big & make us wanna stay tuned for the 2nd part. this first part is not necessarily filler but building the character's stories. i remember when 'From Dusk Til Dawn' came out there was an interview where Tarrantino & Rodriguez were talking about when you read horror novels there isn't action all the way through. it takes a long time because the characters are being built so when shit does get real, we feel more for the characters. i mean look at the Exorcist book. it takes forever for shit to start happening but when it does it's non-stop. since the budget is cut for effects they have to create more story then make it count at the right time.
