he's been so smart, but yet now he is so dumb. doesn't he realize that if he just gives in, he will be giving his group a better chance of taking them on? just fucking say "NEGAN", and then you can devise a plan.
if he "breaks" too fast it might be obvious...negan already knows how much bite daryl has in him...daryl can't just simply roll over

I still can't believe they gave up all those guns and the rocket launcher. I would've had to take my chances if I had that shit. And Neegan is the least intimidating villain since Kylo Ren took his helmet off.

thats the character he is portraying. The acting is pretty good. but yeah, his persona is annoying. reminds of me of when in movies or tv shows, and they have a cop interrogating someone and the cop does that smirk to get under the persons skin. annoys the hell out of me

I think it's a confidence Negan has like, he's a God almost! He can do whatever he wants and who gonna step up to him? So he'll laugh while he's talking or give you a smirk! He's playing a villain and your normally hate the villain and he irking the shit outta everyone

Yesterday was another exciting day of finale filming at Alexandria. They also did a little filming off Baggarly Way. LOTS of gunfire again and SMOKE! Reported sightings were: Rick, Carl, Enid, Father Gabriel, Ezekiel, Eduardo, Dianne, Jesus, Daryl, Negan, Dwight, Simon, Carol, and Morgan.
Negan, Dwight, and Simon were all in a truck together exiting the safezone. Daryl was seen shooting at the truck as it drove away. There was also a report of possibly Rick shouting "Daryl!"
Filming is at Alexandria again today. There's already been reports of gunfire. If you go out today please be respectful and message us with any updates. Have fun!"

You just described why most people dont like/watch the show as a whole, there is no clear skys ahead, its been hopeless since season one when they found out its no cure.
This is different.... because firstly, Negan has a much bigger army than the Governor did. Remember, Woodbury was mostly "civilians"... people living within the walls like they were in small town USA pre-walkerworld. He had a relatively small crew of fighters, and when shit got real with the Prison, he had to recruit citizens (remember the old lady with arthritis that tried to volunteer? 
). Even when he re-grouped with the second crew, they were small...... they had a Tank and did lots of damage, but they were small and except for the Tank, they weren't all that (little kids from the Prison taking down some of them).
Negan has a huge crew, and apparently ALL of them are fighters, and unlike the Governor, they ALL know who he is. Remember, most of Alexandria thought the Governor was sane and good... but Negans followers know he's fucking Charles Manson, and they have bought in, willingly or by force. They're organized and prepared to take over communities. Unlike the Governor (with the Tank crew) he's not even down for just letting Rick's group walk away... he wants to keep them earning for him. So Rick has all the people, plus his one eyed Tweener and his baby daughter to think about, in this situation with Charles Manson and his army who not only want some of their shit... but they want THEM to be their worker bees. Since they're prepared to keep them from running, and since they are brutal with groups who try shit.... Rick is like "fuck... can't even just say fuck it and fight them and take our chances, because Negan might gut my 2 year old daughter or some shit". .....until......

I just don't get the complaints...I have been the show's #1 detractor from the jump...but I've really found myself enjoying the 1st three eps this season and looking forward to catching up to the fourth joint even tho I'm still ultimately expecting the season to disappoint me

The thing is though, that in real life, this shit happens. No zombie apocalypse of course, but strong men do take over power by being brutal. Now this is a tv show, so it's played up of course, but remember how Sadam Hussein took over power in Iraq (had a big meeting, called out a bunch of names, and those he called literally got taken out back and executed)... Stalin, etc, and those are heads of state/government. Then you got your cult/cultish leaders that get people to follow them while they're doing brutal shit. It actually happens. Now we know what's gonna happen in the end... Rick's group is gonna get out of it and Rick is gonna kick ass at some point, but for now they're down and out. They met up with a bigger, well equipped group that is prepared to do shit that they won't and for the time being, it has them severely hemmed up. Negan is Keyser Soze, and Rick knows that attempting to hit him now would not be smart. Remember what Verbal Kint said (about himself, lol)... "how do you shoot the devil in the back? What if you miss?". That's where they're at for the moment.
