I didn't even finish watching the episode after they pulled out the fucking rocket launcher.
It's like the wicked witch of the west show up to your camp and you got firetrucks with hoses on standby and you just give up the hoses and water. Fuck out of here. Negan's crew see Negan get bodied and the crew would be in shock. Crucify Negan's corpse outside your camp and hold a RIP ceremony for Daryl. When Negan's people come looking for him and see his crucified corpse, they turning around 9 times out of 10. They'd also have their own power vacuum to worry about. Doesn't anyone in that camp read history?Who writes this shit? It's like the Hollywood fuckery when the bad guy has a hostage and tells you to toss your gun over.

I don't get why you guys automatically assume if Negan dies it will be all peace and love again. For all we know a bigger asshole would just take his place, and its stupid to think if Rick had killed Negan all his henchmen would just run off in fear of their lives and not just murder Rick and his entire family.
They prolly would murder Rick's people but the point is about how much shit can somebody take!?
We are not talking about a few villagers now, Rick's crew have been through a few wars themselves already, at this point in the timeline of this story most of the weak people are long dead unless they got lucky and were hiding behind walls since the beginning.
They do not have the numbers to put up a real fight, so they bow their head and try to survive, it's a typical 48 Laws Of Power move actually.

Zeke has a lion and doesn't want to make waves with Negan for a few reasons.. Negan comes through makes his position clear, you see he has soldiers throughout his entire camp..everyone is a soldier and then you see you just have a few soldiers and mostly just people who will die.

At least they could have him in private trying to come up with a plan but no they have him looking like a scared bitch in every scene he is in. A few things don't make sense to me. Assuming these things haven't been done.
1.) Why didn't they immediately stash away some guns and matchup the inventory? I'm sure Rick sat everyone in the town down and talked about Negan and the new way they would be doing things. They already knew he would come at some point to get some supplies. Unless he came the very next morning, why didn't he stash away some guns? Its not like they had much else to do during the day.
2.) Why is Rick so scared? I've seen this group with their hands tied with guns to their heads,in the middle of a cannibal outpost tied up,surrounded by bikers,or at war with the Governor. In comparison, Neegan presents a lighter threat than what they have faced before. I can see Rick bowing down right after Abraham and Glen were killed and they had guns to their heads, but I don't get how he is just rolling over like this when they got back. Unless he was waiting for Carol and Morgan to come back first.

I think its a good move. Now they have to "earn" some back. Plus he depowers a possible rebellion. IMO he would be stupid to let them keep all of those guns. Zombies can't get in so the guns serve no purpose other than to fight him.

1. the inventory thing was to keep the people of alexandria in line. To keep order.
And Rick said it, Negan aint fucking around if he finds out they hid guns, some one is going to die.
2. Their trump card was killing alll the people in their sleep at the satellite base, Negan has an army they barely have a militia. War with Negan is un winnable.

Did you miss the part where he terrorized them in a game of cat and mouse, corralled them into the woods, and then fully instilled the fear of God with the suspenseful mind fuck that ended in the heinous murder of Glen and Abe surrounded by a seemingly endless amount of his soldiers?
They went from thinking they knew everything about this group to realizing they knew NOTHING. And then realizing his numbers and power are unlike anything they have seen before.

BTW i saw Maggie in real life at the container store in Dunwoody of all places didnt know who she was until people started talking. I must say she was very pleasant on the eyes could use a lil sun though,........

It was like Rick did not prepare the people of Alexandria for what was coming. It looked like they were in the dark because they looked confused when Negan's goons started grabbing shit. Also they should have hid the guns and got rid of that gun ledger fat girl was keeping. As others said, never give up your guns. That ledger was excellent accounting for Negan.
By the way I kinda feeling that chica that was in Negan's group. She was the one who checked the fat girl's ledger and told Negan some guns were missing.
