I hope so man
Over 8 years I've watch them neuter every single black character quickly slowly kill them either physically or mentally and it's like I don't want to go thru that again

She's a damn near assassin and she getting her ass beat in a fight with another woman in the finale?

It's infuriating
While carol gets to do her with no type of restrictions throughout carol can be michonne but michonne can't

Gabriel saves the back stabbed for what? He don't know or owe him nothing now he bout to shit his pants

Morgan had to be saved by a white cat

Sasha lost her brother who was relegated to being Mr mom his last stint on the show the gentle giant caring for kids

She found love and lost her alcoholic boyfriend Bob Bob is still the only person from the group in 7 seasons to be cannibalized

She's mad for a minute then falls in love with a white cat and he dies and now she can't go on so much so she kills herself and her only memories after all that happens is about him. Bob just died no memories of that? Your brother dead no flash backs of that? Naw just gonna be with my Abe again

Killed everybody hates Chris

Shit even the king that has a motherfucking tiger has to be a "fraud" and defer to Rick

Was I the only hoping that Negan would've beat that nigga with his bat in that trailer off of GP alone?!

He prolly gonna use him to escape.

LogicaLly he would throw him out the front and while the zombies are distracted sneak out the back.

But I doubt it will happen like that.

It's funny niggas complaining about how white writers write for black characters.

You complaining about the wrong thing. Demand more black writers for the show.

And I will say this again, all the black characters actually have emotional debt and dimension. None of the white characters really do; maybe Maggie. The rest are pretty flat.

So we not gonna talk bout Rick pulling out a Polaroid or where they keep finding these clean ass cars with full gas tanks? Did they make a pit stop at Gander Mountain before it went outta business to re-up on bullets?

Before They Were on The Walking Dead, Here's What Your Favorite Zombie Slayers Starred In

Danai-Gurira.JPG

Danai Gurira
Gurira seems like she was born to hack up zombies (in a good way), but she hasn't always played such badass characters. In 2007, she starred as a jewelry designer in The Visitor.

Melissa-McBride.gif

Melissa McBride
Your eyes aren't deceiving you; Carol kissed Dawson! McBride appeared as Melanie on a 2003 episode of Dawson's Creek.

Sonequa-Martin-Green.JPG

Sonequa Martin-Green
Martin-Green is a TV pro, having had starring roles on The Good Wife and Once Upon a Time. She also appeared in Toe to Toe, a 2009 movie about the friendship between two teenage lacrosse players.

Josh-McDermitt.JPG

Josh McDermitt
We know him as Dr. Eugene Porter, but McDermitt first flexed his TV chops on the comedy Retired at 35 in 2011. He also played Pete's old friend, George Payton, on Mad Men!

Christian-Serratos.JPG

Christian Serratos
Serratos, aka Rosita, has been all over the map. She played Angela in the Twilight movies, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager fans might remember her as Raven.

Lennie-James.JPG

Lennie James
James has been a working actor for decades. You may recognize him from Guy Ritchie's Snatch or Sahara, in which he appeared opposite Matthew McConaughey. Not ringing any bells? He also had an arc as Charlie on Hung from 2010 to 2011.

Lenny: "He's a getaway driver."
Robbie: "Getaway driver? Look at 'im. What could he get away from?"

I'm still waiting for Maggie to start showing

She's been a week pregnant for a while now

:lol:When I saw her in the first episode Sunday I thought they were gonna say she had already had the baby

Damn. Lowest ratings for 5 seasons by a lot. Still high for a show, but not TWD numbers we used to.

It's time for it to end.

It's this whole Negan arc. The Walking Dead is really a show about Rick and his great leadership, he's seen as a hero. With this Negan arc they turned Rick into a scared lil bitch and fans just aren't feeling it, these last season they've made Negan the star

Perception is a mother fucker. Rick a great leader? Rick is a terrible leader.

Negan is not only a far better leader but his character actually brought life back into the show for me.

And another take on perception, Ricks crew is like a cancer on the world and Negan being the master or taming savages. Kept them assholes in check.

If you really pay attention to the show, I mean really pay attention, Negan nor do I, think he is the bad guy on the show.

Negan is a way better leader.
It's not even close. His people are never in danger up to this point. They eat. they got an ecosystem built. Everybody got a job. They expanded.
Rick barely escapes most situations he Leeroy Jenkins' everything

But I still want Rick to win I guess. Cause I been watching him for years now

That's all i'm saying,, you may feel Negan is a better leader but the show is about Rick the leader and like you fans have been watching all these years to see him lead his people thru different things. This past season Rick has looked nothing like a leader and I don't think his fans are feeling that

He hasn't looked like a leader ever he just kind of makes it and that's OK with me.
I enjoy the show I enjoy more than I don't about it.
They've used up the slow pacing though there's enough material and writing to not have filler episodes where cats are walking and talking for an hour about the past and shit
This ain't Orange is the new black.

Finally watched it. Noticed a MAJOR plot hole.

Gabriel is running from walkers. He escapes by slipping through an unlocked door. It turns out to be a trailer where Negan happens to be hiding.

The problem is that the doorknob is the type you push down to open. With all the walkers there a few of them would have easily opened it by then. Negan should be a pile of bones by now

So we not gonna talk bout Rick pulling out a Polaroid or where they keep finding these clean ass cars with full gas tanks? Did they make a pit stop at Gander Mountain before it went outta business to re-up on bullets?

I believe the polaroid camera is the same one Aaron used to show them Alexandria early on.

As for where they got it, and the cars, AND the guns, etc. At least 95% of the country has been dead for the last 2 years. Many of them left their cars untouched sitting in their driveways. Darryl knows how to hotwire vehicles so those cars would be easy to get. Many of the people who joined their communities early probably kept the cars they already had. Gas could easily be siphoned from one of the thousands of cars abandoned on the nearby freeway. In rural Georgia and Virginia there are more guns than people. Not hard to grab a few.

To me that's one of the most interesting thing about the show though. With most the country gone there is enough canned food, water, fuel, etc for all of the survivors to live comfortably for decades. The walkers have rotted away to nearly nothing, everyone alive is skilled at killing them. The whole world is easy pickings, but people are still fighting and exploiting each other over resources.

Major plot hole? The writing on this show has been shit since season 2.

Yeah and all the men had to give up were their wives and daughters. I still want to know how the whole "kneeling" thing got started. Did he say "from now on, when I walk in, everyone kneel", and people just said :dunno:ok.

They need to do a backstory.

There is a backstory in the comic book. Do a youtube search for 'Negan Backstory' for the cliff notes. The only thing I'll say is that the TV Negan completely makes his comic backstory possible.

Only certain ones he didn't have all the women.
He's a cult leader that's how the kneeling got started
charismatic and a killer which is what's required in these times.

Negan was always this guy before the shit hit the fan there was just no room for it
