I have been listening to the dark tower audiobook series the past couple of months. From a description I remember listening to in the third book (the wastelands) it made it appear that Roland and his crew went through a portal and ended up in another version of Earth that is was actually the same world the book The Stand took place.


And let's not forget Walter is also Randall flagg

I hate it to a certain degree that Daryl is one of the heroes and strongest characters so far. However from a deeper perspective it shows for a fact that these rural redneck cac's in real life be on some hunting, outdoor survival, and even military training. In the zombie universe before a plague he and his even more crackerish older bro Merle are just dumb rednecks. In a plague their outdoor skills are invaluable. Rick and Shane can only hang because they had structure being cops. Tddog is just a hood ninja that got away while his hood was getting rushed. He was one of them feet don't fail me now ninjas.

The possibilities of Stephen King in the Walking Dead world are just insane in what he could do. I think he could take the stories in directions that even us comic readers would like.

Now maybe next season they'll bring in JMS!

King would be great. I really like his work and the dark tower series is fire.


I don't like how much they are deviating from the comic but the walking dead is still great. Michonne will be there next season but the black dude and his daughter they are supposed to team up with don't appear to be in this season.


They better not fuck up next season when they are at the prison. I wonder how they are going to depict the governor.

I know the writers got fired...but they let Kirkman go to? Series is in the shitter if there's any truth to it...1st ep was horribly slow...there dragging it too much on purpose...doesn't build suspense...just creates boredom

Who said anything about dialogue...there wasn't even that much dialogue in the ep...just them spending an eternity looking for that dumb ass lil girl...the storyline didn't make any real progression...very little rising action...

Easy. They don't make much noise, they just shuffle along. Everyone was busy and the lookout, Dale, saw them when they came out from among the cars.
