TDog isn't in the graphic novel. I'm wondering if TDog issuppise to represent Tyrese. Tyrese did nothing but kicked ass and was a presence in the novel. Complete opposite of TDog. Andrea, the screaming bitch, has the best shot and is the shooter in the novel.

I loved season one(even though it didn't compare to the graphic novel), but both episodes this season have been sooooo slow. Bad writing

Regarding Michonne, if they stick to the graphic novel, prepare to be quite pissed. Surely they'll deviate.
Also, the T-Dog character is bullshit! Tyrese was a bad mofo! Too strong a black male character to feature, obviously.
Matter of fact, if they omit Tyrese but stay true with Michonne's character, I'm fucking done with the show!

That's always been the concept behind the Walking Dead series: a drama with zombies as the reason for putting the characters through some over the top stress to see how they would react. This is pretty much what the comics did too. Sometimes nobody would die, shit would be peaceful. Next thing you know, BAM! Some fucked up shit would happen.
Me personally, I'm liking the pace as I think it gives the writers time to add depth to the characters. If it was all zombie kills all the time, the shit would be tiresome.

Ya and to add insult to injury they gonna split the season...so I don't expect much to happen the next 4-5 eps...they already stretched the lil girl storyline and now they gonna make this bullshit w/ Carl linger...show dropped off dramatically after the 1st 3 eps of last season

Except the characters aren't showing any real growth...practically none really...no one is saying it has to be all action but @ the same time the story is progressing @ a snail's pace...I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last season...they are handling the show wrong

I think the reason for the complaints has more to do with the quality of the writing and the pacing more than the lack of action. There simply isn't much tension... especially relative to the first season. The show still has it's moments for sure... and I'll be tuning in as usual but the drop in quality seems pretty tangible to me.
