Awesome series
Seems like a mixed reaction from book readers. The hardcore fans are furious with some of the changes (as always) and the more casual fans are glad to see their favorite fiction series on the screen. The last episode had a lot of flaws. I heard they shot the episodes in order so I'm wondering if they ran into budget issues towards the end. The CGI was particularly bad with the trollocs
I enjoyed the first season
I never heard of the books and didn't hear of the series until recently and THEN my TV or Netflix was fucking up. I watched like two episodes thinking it was something new...I didn't know there was a first season.

Great show! I loved these kinda books as a kid.my sister got me into them.she was in college when I told her on the phone I was bored one day and she said go downstairs and look in the foyer closet.sword n sorcery books like whoa! One specific series.I think one of the main characters name was Belgarion.
Anyway ..I hope they continue this series,it was very binge worthy.i love seeing so many different races thrown together and having black folks up front and center.

I brought the first three Mistborn books(Era I)all of the Stormlight Archives books that's out and Elantris,a few weeks ago.I'll get Mistborn(Era II) and the rest of Sanderson books later.
It's gonna take me awhile to finish each Stormlight Archive books. Each book is over a thousand page long.

Nope. It's telling about the 1st season that I didn't even bother with the 2nd season yet after reading all the books. I hope that they don't cram too much into this season and just rush through major events cause a lot happened in Book 2

I jump bumped up another older thread on the series before finding this one. I agree that season 2 was much improved over season 1. I still felt the finale was too rushed in parts. This show needs 10 episodes a season. There is just to much to do with just 8 episodes.
I remember thinking season one was a real slow burn. By the time season one started to cook it was over. Season two seems to be following that same path. I'll probably watch most of this season at work.
