Season 1 of Vigil was a crime investigation which primarily took place aboard a submarine. Season 2 trailer appears to be focused on dry land. Only 6 eps total. 3 last week, and 3 in recent days.
As for Reacher ... I like that the story is easy to follow and deliberately cheesy at times. It feels small budget, even though you know it isn’t being a Prime series and all, lol.

I haven't seen that type of speed and ability to capture different pov and voices with dialog that also pushes narrative. Trying to emulate that is just gonna break you.

I LIKE the humor. Sex is NEVER as serious as they make it. Real sex is clumsy awkward intense and lazy and messy and noisy and can smell and be quick or a marathon.
Just make it memorable and add something to the overall narrative or reveals something about the narrative

I just got comfortable writing dialogue within the past 5 years. Most of my stories up until that point were narrative stories with limited dialogue

According to him Season 1 natural but Season 2 he went juicy. The difference is obvious.
I actually support early renewals and think in the long run its better for EVERYONE.
Salaries, writers, production all feel safe locked in and can focus. Budget done. Fans feel satisfied. Win win.
We ALL know Fallout getting 2 seasons
Reacher, Halo, White Lotus, Gen V, etc
