I have said it before and I will say it again. Gender is political while sex is real. There is no fucking way a boy should be allowed to compete in "girls" competitions. If a girl competing was taking steroids to have levels any where near a boys that girl would be disqualified. That shit is stupid and savage to allow.

In most sports, your size and ability matter. Some more than others and while ability can be trained, size is the advantage that can’t be won through being pragmatic and focused. No matter how hard you train, if you’re a natural born woman that’s 5’2 and wanna play linebacker in the NFL, it’s damn near impossible.
The US Women’s soccer team recently played FC Dallas’s U15 boys team in a pre World Cup match and got spanked. Detractors will say, “it was just a tune up”, or “they weren’t giving it their all...”, but it’s a testament to having certain natural abilities that simply can’t be bought and paid for. The speed, the size, it counts.
I think if trans athletes want their own lane, give it to em. Let em be amongst themselves. Keep things how they are and allow there to be a separate entity that allows trans people to compete amongst those who are like them. That takes the question of what’s fair and what isn’t, out of the equation entirely. You’ll know what you’re signing up for, and you’re not imposing any questions on the traditional male and female sports.
