I think all of us are in the same boat. But I think the problem lies in the fact that the media honestly has no power. Think about it, what can they do if Cruz or anyone else decides they aren't going to answer questions? What can they do if Trump says no more White House briefings? If they say we are only doing interviews for Fox news going forward?
The "Dr. Truth" is it isn't the media that is necessarily "weak" it's the people that these people are supposed to represent that are "weak." Cruz gives an answer like that and to whom amongst the people does he have to answer to? Who amongst the people do Trump and his group have to answer to?

1) Hillary's servers/emails were hacked and information supposedly stolen by Russian agents (Sometime in June 2016)
2) Trump Jr. was made privy of the content of those documents (Sometime in June 2016)
3) I'm under the assumption he didn't report this to any government security agencies(NSA, FBI, CIA..etc)
4) Sometime today he's boasting on twitter that he had access or was given access to those very documents that were stolen?
Is that the general gist of the situation?
