At the close of the hearing, Judge McAfee found Floyd committed a “technical violation” of the conditions of his release based on his social media behavior, but did not order that Floyd be immediately thrown in jail. Instead, Judge McAfee modified the terms of Floyd’s release to specifically address social media “posts” and “likes” and gave Floyd a stern warning.
However, MeidasTouch has uncovered that just hours after the hearing, Floyd continued to amplify social media statements that appear to violate the modified order.
He's not barred from talking about her. Just the witnesses. Liking a post about her should be ok.
Floyd is barred from liking posts which mention codefendants, witnesses, or anyone named in the indictment. Within a day of his revised bond agreement, Floyd liked a tweet attacking codefendant Jenna Ellis, a likely direct violation of his new agreement.
Floyd's liked tweet from user "For Real Girl" tagged Floyd and not only mentioned Jenna Ellis, but attacked her as a sellout:
