BEEF

Episodes 7 to 10 were very good ,shocking and involving even though I had to suspend disbelief for a lot of what happens in episode 9. It pretty much ended up where I thought it would. This could definitely be a great anthology series.

Succesion

Another episode in which I could feel something for every character.....WELL MAYBE NOT EVERY CHARACTER BUT every uncomfortable moment and bitter sweet victory. It made me think about how everyone should have their affairs in order so there's no second guessing and wondering.

Waco The Aftermath

I can read about and watch documentaries about major, tragic and life changing events but there's nothing like seeing it brought out in a well acted TV series that makes me look at all the points of the people that were involved in the event. I'm already pulled in by episode 1 and was hoping episode 2 was posted but I will have to wait until next week.

Yea i dont see the Black contestants lasting very long(one already been sent home  ) ...

Watched the first couple of episodes of Ramit Sethi’s “How to Get Rich@ on Netflix, pretty good series.

Hopefully my girl Ashly wasnt on his list...
Wont be long before Charlie flips out again...

Thicker Than Water

I have one episode left to watch of this series written by and starring the beautiful Nawell Madani. Fast paced, current, funny and involving it's one of the best dramedy's i have ever watched on Netflix

Titans

Im struggling with these last episodes of this series that started off well in it's first 2 seasons but the latest season and this one are so uninvolving and it just feels like their budget was cut. In fact i find myself checking how much time is left in the episode so i can move on to something else.

The Mandalorian season 3 finale

Definitely action packed and even moving at times with a few things tied up and the show back on it's path with a few changes it was definitely a good watch but it felt like something was missing or maybe im just greedy and wanted more.

Picard series finale

Some great nods to Classic Star Trek. Definitely great to see some incredible practical effects.
A nice finish to this chapter of Star Trek and the possibility of starting a new one
Very interesting stinger

Snowfall series finale

This series had some of the most great, intense and unflinching performances i have ever seen
The late great John Singleton crafted a series that was a joy, pleasure and painful to watch sometimes i got all three at the same time.
It was a mixture of terrible truths, and fictional and memorable characters caught up in them, that made me think of what i read and and watched over the years about the drug pandemics and the CIA's involvement.
A haunting and somber ending. Singleton would be proud

Checked out the first 2 eps of Rabbit Hole yesterday. Enjoyed them - just over 40 mins apiece. Enough happening so that you have to pay close attention and not wander off and try to multi-task or check your device(s).

Liked the initial set-up at the bar, and the way the story unfolded.

Going to stick with it.

Enjoyed the season finale for Godfather of Harlem. The series has been consistent throughout the 3 seasons. Good cast of characters. Enough material to work with.

This is correct. I watched the newest episode last night. Twist and turns left and right. Kiefer Sutherland and Charles Dance have been fantastic, but it doesn't feel like they are going in any general direction. I get it, but at the same time, they have so many twist and turns that it feels like the ending could be where Kiefer Sutherland wakes up and it was all dream. :hmm: I'm sticking with it to the end, because I want to see what happen, but don't throw a twist in there just for the sake of a twist.

Agreed. My dad was saying they are making things too complicated at times.

Ummmm

Watched the first two episodes

This is completely unoriginal unnecessary and then kinda clever all at the same time?

I don't even know if I think its good?

They should have just dumped the entire season in one drop, I think it would have gotten a better reception.

Maybe.

Fingers crossed the promises made I the trailer are met.

I saw this, this morning and thought this might be kind of good and added it to My List.

This looks like a series worth seeing next year ...

The Sympathizer is an upcoming historical political drama television series based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name written by Viet Thanh Nguyen. The series was developed by co-showrunners Park Chan-wook and Don McKellar, with Park directing for the series as well. The series is produced to air on HBO by A24 and Rhombus Media.

The series is based on the story of the Captain, a North Vietnam plant in the South Vietnam army. He is forced to flee to the United States with his general near the end of the Vietnam War. While living within a community of South Vietnamese refugees, he continues to secretly spy on the community and report back to the Viet Cong, struggling between his original loyalties and his new life.[1]

The series will be released on Max in 2024.[7]

Started the final season of Barry with the 2 eps that dropped on Sunday. Good stuff, as expected. Enjoyed the way they shot the flashbacks to his childhood, also the current plotline with Sally. Seeing how things play out for the supporting cast as well.

Current season of Ted Lasso ... bit predictable really. They’re about halfway through now.

Abbott Elementary (Hulu/ABC)

Thought this show was great. Watched it a couple of times. And it's still funny. I would highly recommend this show. Btw I'm crushing on Janelle James tall ass:sleazy:

It’s been quite the happy adjustment for James, who five years ago was living in the backroom of a bike shop. Now, her face is on the side of buses and on billboards — something that still surprises her. She has executives gushing over her, which also feels like an out-of-body experience.

^^^ Quite a journey…

Interesting take on Chappelle— I disagree but it’s truly unique as far as what I have seen:
Dave Chappelle, whom she admired when growing up, recently made headlines for offensive jokes about transgender people. But that’s not the only reason she prefers old Chappelle to new.

“The last thing I watched of his was when he came out with all the specials at once. Regardless of what he said, I thought it was boring. I like silly Chappelle. He’s in his wisdom bag now,” she says. “We’re clowns! Once we forget that we’re clowns, then it becomes bad. Your objective is to make people laugh and then sneak your thoughts in underneath the jokes. If your thoughts are on top, that’s not funny or entertaining to me.”

She must not be a fan of Chris Rock or George Carlin…

Previously you mentioned enjoying season 1 of Somebody Somewhere. Here's a good interview with the lead ... listened to it a few days ago ... she comes on just after the 57-minute mark (timestamp is noted in the 1st link).
