Me and the wife started Part 2 of the final season last week and finished it up this afternoon. It had debuted back in December.
The season continued on with the aftermath the Royal Family had to deal with following Princess Diana’s death. It also dealt with the Queen contemplating about passing the throne onto Prince Charles cuz she felt out of touch with what the current state of the country was with her and the Monarchy.
I know cats on this forum are not interested in this series, but the reason I’m posting it cuz of what happened in Season 6 Episode 8. It looks like Queen Elizabeth when she was still a Princess during WW2, managed to get some IR XXX with a Black GI who was in England.
This series was fictional mainly with dialogue between the characters, but the events were supposedly actual. It seems Queen Elizabeth and her sister Princess Margaret had decided to keep the event that night secret and take what actually happened to their graves. The series the way they did it did not show Elizabeth/Margaret getting intimate with the Brothas, but it was clearly implied when it ended showing them returning to Buckingham Palace.
The series also informed us that the current Royal Family is not guaranteed the throne. There are other families that can claim it if they can prove the current family is unfit. It’s possible that Prince William might be challenged when he ascends the throne. It’s possible we might actually see a real “Game of Thrones”. We will wait and see.
Thru-out the series, they did a outstanding job with casting and hair/makeup getting the actors to actually look like the real people.
Overall, it’s an interesting series based around Queen Elizabeth’s time from ascending the throne until the late 1990s.
If you looking for something to watch with your girl that isn’t 100% feminine, this will do.
