This came out in late 2022, I was gonna watch it back then but Netflix was going on a binge rapidly cancelling new series they were putting out at the time. So I made the decision early last year not to get into a new series unless it’s labeled “Limited Series” or a new season has officially been announced.

Netflix announced back around November/December that season 2 was coming. I was gonna wait until prior to season 2 to binge, but realized by then Hollywood will be releasing a shit load of content that has been backed up since the strikes last year. So I been watching one episode a week since early January and finished tonight.

Not going into detail being I’m probably the last person to watch it, but this was a pretty good series and I could see why it got a lot of buzz. The story played out real well. Director Tim Burton filmed it perfectly. Set designs and costumes looked great. Casting was done well with the right actors in their roles.

Definitely looking forward to season 2, hopefully it comes out next year.

Synopsis

While attending Nevermore Academy, Wednesday Addams attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a killing spree and solve the mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.

Finished season 2 of The Tourist the other day.

Didn't really care for it too much, but wanted to see it through and was multi-tasking at times to get through it and started / stopped the show a few times while watching it (only 6 eps over 2 months). They were all released at once in early-January, but it didn't hold my interest enough to get through it quickly. Season 1 was better and more appealing.

Fave characters this season were Niamh Cassidy and Frank McDonnell. They each had serious presences and were fun to watch.

There were a few side plots that I didn't care about.

Some scenes wherein the main 2 leads weren't doing enough to stay 1 step ahead of "the bad guys" ... too lax.

Also ... I often couldn't get past the pairing of the 2 leads. Just didn't really have couple chemistry.

I been watching this horror, anthology series since New Years by watching one episode a week. I finished it up last night.

There are 13 one hour episodes. This series is from England and never debuted here in the US, mainly due to the fact that there is female nudity and the violence is more graphic than what US censorship would allow.

The series plays out like a darker version of the cult classic “Tales From The Darkside”. Each episode is different from the other and they all delve into various topics.

For the Gay Agenda trackers, there is one episode with a WM Trans/Drag Queen in a LGBT club, nothing is shown.

For the Militants, there is a whole episode with Interracial WM/BW. Only PDA is shown.

For the Thirsty, plenty of attractive WW thru-out the series to keep you looking at the screen.

There are a number of well known and recognizable British actors thru-out the series, who are at the start of their acting careers before coming to Hollywood.

Synopsis

Each self-contained episode features a different kind of horror. These vary from witches, werewolves and ghosts to devil-worship and voodoo, but also include non-supernatural horror themes such as cannibalism, confinement and serial killers.

This series aired in 2020 at the height of the pandemic but i never got around to watching it even though it looked interesting due to so many other shows i was personally binge watching or watching with family and other great shows that were being suggested. This basically says how far would you go to secure a job? Even going up against sinister corporation leaders and personal and financial risk. Im three episodes in and it's very interesting how things are playing out for Delambre

Don’t be surprised if they cancel it before April 1, 2024.

Netflix makes their decisions on their crazy algorithms. They don’t give series enough time to get word of mouth to spread interest.

Game Of Thrones Creators' $160 Million Sci-Fi Breaks A Netflix Record (& It's A Good Sign)

Netflix is investing heavily in "3 Body Problem," providing an impressive $160 million budget for the highly anticipated sci-fi series. The new show by Game of Thrones creators Benioff and Weiss is set to premiere on March 21, 2024, featuring a star-studded cast. With a cost of $20 million per episode, "3 Body Problem" holds the record for the highest cost-per-episode of any new Netflix show.

Just started season 1 of Ramy a few days ago. I had meant to get around to it in recent years, so it's a nice addition to the rotation of shows. Well-written & interesting seeing the introduction of the characters.

Good to also see "Mo" amongst the cast (enjoyed season 1 of his series on Netflix).

Going to keep watching over the months ahead in the On Demand archives ...

Ramy is an American comedy-drama television series that premiered on April 19, 2019, on Hulu. In May 2019, Hulu renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on May 29, 2020.[2][3] The series stars Ramy Youssef as the titular character. In July 2020, Hulu renewed the series for a third season, which premiered on September 30, 2022.[4][5]

The series has been praised for its portrayal of American Muslims when most Western pop culture depictions are "usually as the bad guys".[6] In January 2020, Youssef was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy for his role in Ramy. Additionally, Youssef was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, and in 2020 he also received the Peabody Award.

Ramy follows "a first-generation American Muslim who is on a spiritual journey in his politically divided New Jersey neighborhood. It explores the challenges of what it is like being caught between an Egyptian community that thinks life is a moral test, and a generation that thinks life has no consequences."[7]

Tracker on CBS

I mainly watched this to support my wife in another life Fiona Rene but the plot is interesting and there were a couple of turns that were rather violent that I wasn't expecting. It's interesting enough for me to come back and see where the characters and story go.

A family member told me I was going to be pissed when I got to the middle of episode 3 in this very involving but all to brief very effective series but i was already pissed by the end of episode 1.I was a part of the corporate working force for 12 years and had flashbacks of oblivious and tough but fair bosses.
while watching this. Some situations didn't ring true to me which caused a bit of frustration but in the end I thought it was an excellent series.

‘Tracker’ Renewed for Season 2 at CBS

The Justin Hartley-led drama launched less than a month ago in TV’s best time slot: after the Super Bowl.

CBS has found its first series renewal for the 2024-25 broadcast season
.
The network has renewed Tracker, its Justin Hartley-led drama, for a second season. The series launched Feb. 11 in TV’s best time slot — after the Super Bowl — and now ranks as the No. 1 show, according to Nielsen’s most current data, with 16 million multiplatform viewers. The network says Tracker is its most watched new series since Big Bang Theory prequel Young Sheldon debuted in the 2017-18 season.

Tracker kicked off our premiere week with a ratings bang and has kept the momentum going,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “We knew we had something special when we saw the very first cut of the series and the overwhelming audience response confirms it. We couldn’t be more grateful to Justin, the talented cast, the incredible writing and producing teams and our partners at 20th Television for such compelling episodes. And, of course, we’re also so thankful to the millions of viewers tuning in each week.”

Formerly known as The Never Game and based on the best-selling novel by Jeffery Deaver, Tracker was ordered to series in late 2022 after CBS put the project, with Hartley attached to star and exec produce, in development in late 2021. The renewal should be considered a positive sign of CBS’ commitment to year-round development as broadcast continues to focus on the strategy instead of spending millions of dollars on multiple pilots in a three-month time span that often doesn’t allow programs to find their creative footing.
The series is also a win for Disney, whose 20th Television produces Tracker as part of Hartley’s overall deal with the studio, behind the actor’s former hit series This Is Us. Hartley, Ken Olin, Elwood Reid and Ben Winters executive produce.
Tracker is CBS’ first series to be renewed for the 2024-25 broadcast cycle. The show is one of only two rookie originals to launch as part of the strikes-impacted 2023-24 season, with Elsbeth having launched last week. The pickup comes as CBS is wrapping Blue Bloods, Bob Hearts Abishola, SWAT and Young Sheldon this year. Keep up with all the scripted renewals, cancellations and new show orders with THR’s handy scorecard here

Apple keep putting out bangers

Really enjoyed the Shantaram and Black Bird series respectively on Apple. Shrinking too.

Looking forward to checking out Farrell's show too.

Checked out his work most recently in The Banshees of Inisherin, True Detective, and The North Water (see info and trailer below). He played a great villain ...

The Regime

Kate Winslet and Matthias Schoenaerts play well together in this series about a European country in all types of disarray and overseen by a quirky and paranoid chancellor Elena Vernham. Schoenaerts character Corporal Herbert Zubak definitely gives me a Rasputin vibe as he quickly learns to exploit the situation he's in. It's fun and filled with dark humor and I'm looking forward to watching how things play out

The Cleaning Lady season 3

It's always a sad and unbelievably tough situation when a film or TV series unfortunately loses a core cast member. How do you go on? Should a series or film go on ? The late great Adan Canto was essential to the show but I can already predict how they will handle his untimely passing on the show. New troubles and characters are already in place for Thony and it's going to be interesting to see if she can get past these new hurdles.
