TV SHOWS / SERIES - Seen any good ones lately? Please feel free to post reviews / feedback / trailers / articles / TV news / all that shit ...

Saw the first episode, it was good, the ending was not what I expected I thought it would be something else so that was a pleasant surprised. Jack Ryan has spoiled me when it comes to the cinematography of these cia DC type shows, they should have have used the same filming crew.

I haven't watched all of Jack Ryan and honestly it's been a while. Where was Jack Ryan strong in the cinematography department that this show falls short?

Also, I don't know if y'all have gotten to episode three and I'm not going to ruin it, but of all the reasons, of all the freaking reasons...

When you get there you will laugh your freaking ass off

Currently enjoying the 2nd season of MO. I've seen just over 4 episodes so far. Easy to get through as the episodes are shorter in running time, so 4 eps = basically the length of 1 movie.

Good continuation of the story ... effective music choices at the end of episodes ... and I've really liked the movie scene references they've included. There's been a few of them so far, and I really liked the one they included in episode 4 with him and his brother.

Been enjoying the current 1st season of The Pitt. I've seen 3 of the 5 episodes so far.

Some of the acting is hit & miss with some of the regular cast, and patients. Some effective and believable acting from some of the people playing family members of patients though, so that was refreshing.

I'm probably not the best person to review medical dramas though, as I haven't followed them (E.R. / Grey's Anatomy / House / the list goes on) over the years, despite working in the health care field myself. Haven't worked in a hospital setting either, as I wouldn't do well with the many stressors at play. I have been in stressful work environments though, and the feeling of being understaffed while constantly trying to multi-task was unnerving (trying to focus on the most important tasks, while not being able to tend to others' assistance).

The great Glynn Turman is in the show Paradise. He just celebrated his 78th birthday on January 31st, and he is still acting. He has been acting in 7 decades, with his first iMdb credit in 1961

The Royal Rumble took place last weekend and after the stream went off an episode of Bel-Air started. I've never watched a second of that show, but I also didn't feel like getting up at that moment, so I ended up just watching the show.

It wasn't until I was 3 episodes deep that I realized Bel-Air is actually REALLY good. I think that shows greatest strength is that you don't have to be a huge Fresh Prince fan or be wrapped in a nostalgia blanket to enjoy the show.

Just as a drama about a rich black family still having to dealing with day to day CaC bullshit is really compelling tv. I especially love the actor & actress they have playing Uncle Phil & Aunt Vi.

You can tell that the actress studied nothing but O.G./dark skin/ not taking no shit Aunt Vi. Not a trace of that soft spoken shit from the redbone Aunt Vi made it into this rendition.

They always find a way of canceling Black shows. I liked how to die alone. It was funny, it was different. it was something I hadn't seen before in a world of everything being rehashed versions of something else.

And then they cancel it even though it had a 91% fresh on rotten tomato.

The Floor was gearing up to be one of my favorite new shows to watch with the family

but that ending was HORRIBLE.

I enjoyed the show as well. Saved it for my mom, and recommended it to friends as well.
