- but for the record: we have always been with you when we have decided together to defend freedom. For instance, when the US was attacked 9/11, Denmark sent 1000 troops - for several years - to Helmand. Tragically, we lost more soldiers than any other country pr capita. We obviously can’t let Putin succeed with his brutal invasion of Ukraine.
