What I am effectively saying is that Palestinians got the President they wanted so they need to shut the fuck up and take what he gives them. And they better not have the gall to look to the people they voted against to protect them.

Also, notice how this niggas doesn't say that Palestinians voting for Trump have no problem with their tax dollars going to erase Black people from the federal government. Let him hold those fucks to the same standards he tries to hold us to.

Fuck that nigga.

We're not bombing Palestinian-Americans, dipshit. The people America is bombing didn't vote for Trump. You should be more fixated on the evil being perpetrated in your name than last year's election at this point.

Who is America bombing? The Houthis? Dipshit...

I am fixated on the evil perpetrated on people who look like me, just as the Arabs are.

Go lecture them.

All this....everyone wants to protest and fight after the fact.

Folks thought shit was sweet sitting on the couch or fucking around with their vote on Nov 5th.

Did George Floyd deserve to be killed and should the people who protested his murder have been silent because he died under a Republican regime and did not vote in the previous election?

You co-signed a defense of America's white supremacist middle east policy on the basis of resentment of American advocates.

I draw a distinction between the Palestinians in Gaza and the people, some of who were agitators, protesting here in America. The people in Gaza wanted Harris or a dem president. Their only hope was Harris or a dem president. When Harris first got the nomination and had a surge of support, Netanyahu started to come to the table for a cease fire deal, but then blew it up after Trump reached out to him and convinced him to hold out. If you'll recall, I was against Biden stepping down. You and I went back and forth about it a time or two. When I saw the surge of support, I thought maybe I was wrong and a Harris nomination would be a good thing because it energized the voters, but no, even though Harris ran an wonderful campaign, Biden should have stayed in, IMO.

I'm not mad at the protestors, though the people of Gaza probably should be. It saddens me that they have no help coming because neither Trump or the GOP gives a dam about them or anyone who isn't a rich white man or a person they can benefit from. Dems were never going to go back on an agreement made to an ally. They did their best to give humanitarian aid and limit the damage Israel could do, but ultimately they are a sovereign country. Now Israel has more money, more powerful weapons, the blessing of the POTUS to wipe them out, and we aren't going to be taking any of the refugees in and protestors can't be heard or advocate for Gaza because they will be targeted for deportation or as a terroist sympathizer.

Places like Dearborn/Dearborn Heights went FOR Trump. Harris got 36%, Trump 42, and the rest were 3rd party. So they got what they voted for. I'm just sad the people of Gaza are the ones who have to pay the price while the people who voted from the comfort of the US, many of whom are still in the comfort of the US, at least until Trump finds a way to deport them, get to hold on to their self righteousness that is benefiting no one. They are unserious people. Just like the don't vote, vote Bernie, JIll or third party dissenters of 2016, they thought they were going to be able to vote for Trump and have the rest of the state or the rest of the country cover their vote so they could be self righteous and yet have the benefit of a dem win that would keep their dem protections and dem policies in place. Surely, after seeing the damage Trump did the first time, the rest of the country wouldn't vote for him a second time, when there were fewer guardrails, no adults in the room, and when he had already said Israel could raze Gaza to the ground? Others said it didn't matter who was president, we had survived him the first time, we'd survive him again. FAFO is real. I'm not happy about it, though. I'm not celebrating it or the people getting hurt, even if it is MAGA folk. I'm not one of the people ok with suffering as long as someone I don't like is suffering worse.

The protestors wanted Black people to sit out or vote Trump/3rd party to punish dems, when we knew what a second Trump presidency would lead to, for both us and them. They were warned that if Harris didn't win what the consequences would be. That we would ALL be screwed. They were mad at us because esssentially we were not willing to to suffer in solidarity or virtue signal alongside them when our quality of life and freedoms were on the line. So now they have what they voted for - dems have no power. They can't help us. They can't help them. We have to hope the courts keep the country together and that the judges ruling against Trump don't get impeached.

So tell me, now that they got who they voted for, how are things better or different for Gaza now than they would have been under Harris?

Man folks were protesting because they had pent up COVID cabin fever.....

Why wasnt there a huge protest for that just 5 years previously????

This is a huge issue and should be a major concern for Black women. I have multiple family members that have had surgeries related to fibroids. It's difficult to change adults, but MEN really need to start altering what they feed their little girls from birth. Diet can't fix everything associated with genetics, but it can help limit the potential impacts.

I have polycystic ovaries. My oldest sis had fibroids and had surgery to remove them.

This is the real concern for me. At this point, if Trump just started saying that he doesn't trust the process, or even that he can't accept the results, who would stop that? Republicans will ignore common sense and good faith to get the result they want, and there may not even be an infrastructure in place to try and force the issue.

Election results would have to be bulletproof, and then the country would have to be so thoroughly fed up that sheer numbers of dissenters threatened electors more than crazy MAGA-cultists do.
