Something that needs to be said....

And it's kinda the same reason many slept on the lox in the first place

Of course Jada mvp

But this was the definition of a team win

All week it was STYLES leading

Right @dik cashmere ?

Styles was out promoting going viral battling Jim Jones (salute Jimmy too)

Jada was oddly quiet...

And then boom

And that stage presence, improvisation, clear vocals, preparation, veteran experience, routines, playlist...

They PREFORMED. No lip sync.

Styles held his weight and did his part

Sheek held his weight and DID HIS PART.

They looked better sounded better and seemed more genuine

And ummm were on time

All that matters

Respect the audience they will respect you

Ok...See my uptown brothers are a little shell shocked this morning

Understandable

But the OGs saw this but just didn't think it was gonna happen

This WAS Dip Set pretty much their whole career

Fractured.

When Dip is focused? Yes they can be considered the hip hop Beatles

That is why initially I immediately thought they had this hands down easy...

Remember @dik cashmere ?

But the issue is this whole show was kinda indicative of they whole career a microcosm

Cocky brash bold (which isn't necessarily bad)

Cam late wants to make an entrance

Freaky trying to make everyone laugh and stay together

Julez thinks HE the reason people came out

So Jimmy has to hold it down

Sound familiar

Jimmy thinks his records are ALL HITS

ALL OF THEM

Even the ones we ain't heard.

Santana thought he didn't even have to rap cause the audience would say all his lines

The reason they lost is all about preparation

They got that Harlem attitude

"We gonna win cause we SHOWED UP"

The Lox forever got that hunger

That underdog stepchild we gonna out WORK YOU mentality

WE GON MAKE IT.

That's Yonkers sh*t

Diplomats had all the weapons necessary

But they ain't know HOW TO PROPERLY use them

No game plan either.

So they couldn't adjust

And worse... they ain't RESPECT THE AUDIENCE.

And they ain't really respect their own legacy and records enough to present them in the best light.

Wow. You’re buggin. Maybe in 2021, but I think that’s bigger than any record Cam ever did, I could be wrong
Oh I'm sure it is bigger than any of Cam shit. But that shit was corny when it came out.

I hear you both...

It was crazy how that record popped.

I always thought it was overrated

But it was HUGE.

And that opening sample was what SHOULD have been the beat in my opinion

But it just connected and went "viral" before viral was even a thing.

Ring tones sports arenas etc etc all played it

It was every where

Somethings are just unexplainable

And everyone ended up singing it

And yeah MANY thought it was corny

Also Jay Z responding to it gave it a lot of extra legs.

But I don't think anyone really plays it like that outside NY uptown specific.

I like how Jim Jones confirmed his gang membership for the Feds to hear.

Jada came out with his timbs tied. Everyone in ny knows what that means. Dipset didn’t see this coming

And that whole crew kept on taking up the whole damn stage like they were performing as well :smh:
Yeah but even the core members was rolling like a crew...Lox performance was just tighter and at a higher level...everybody knew their roles and played their position....the "Lox are brothers, Dipset are business partners" quote below sums it up perfectly

It doesn't help that Lox are actually better rappers so Dipset definitely needed a tighter set and to let their true advantage, their beats and overall vibe, come through....Jimmy stopping to put on a chain right when his big song about to drop smh....Cam stopping to try to force a freestyle when he bout to drop a hit...all of this occurring while they getting their ass beat...how can vets be so bad at reading the crowd?

My guys got their ass whipped
