Rest in power to this inspiring Elder.....his story was inspiring and tragic at the same time....
I wish the final chapters of his life went differently.
My middle school used to keep these cookies in stock in our cafeteria...I didn't know it was started by a black man until I was in university

It's sad how y'all blaming him, he just didn't have a team of smart people to help his business grow but that doesn't negate the fact it was indeed successful before he lost it all.
Did your uncle share any stories with you about him?
Not really, I just know they met sometime back in the 60's. I'm sure he's got stories though knowing Unc
