Hot Water , just hit the market , makers of cool water .......got pussy and head from it already
I was intrigued when you stated that this scent was in so many words a nice point guard in the world of colognes in terms of an assist in the seduction game.
So I sought out reviews on Hot Water Cologne and came across this site.
I did so not to negate or dispute your claims, I did so to get some type of consensus as to it's effectiveness.

Not bad, not bad at all. Although Cool Water still reigns supreme in my eyes, Hot Water is a nice follow-up.
I get spicy, but not a strong, bold spiciness. I'd say it's a subtle hint of spice more than anything else. Warm and inviting are two words that suit this fragrance well.
Honestly I don't think this fragrance will send many women into a spin however it will certainly smell seductive on a man.
The lasting strength is not great, which is a pity. I must say that I was hoping for more depth to this fragrance. I wanted wild and sexy rather than romantic. Even so, I do still enjoy this fragrance and have no doubt in my mind that it will sell well, partly because of Cool Water's affiliation with it.

Not the best fragrance of Davidoff. It reminds me of Armani Code because of the powdery sweetness. Davidoff could've done better, but I do like it sometimes because it is a unique smell in some way and a good choice if you want to smell different. However do not overspray as it is a fairly strong scent and can be overwhelming easily.

I bought very cheaply in 2017.
A weak spicy sweet smell which for me last about 15 minutes and nobody really notices...
I use it in my wadrobe to freshen up my socks and underwear after they get washed, but I doubt even if it any good for that...

This was easily my worst purchase to date - never again will I trust the advice of a salesperson.
The sweet and spicy notes serve to confuse rather than complement each other and the unimaginative bottle design leaves much to be desired.
The only good thing is that the olfactory torture doesn't last for long.

Not too hot
A slightly boozy absinth note with a peppery patchouli notes lead to a drydown that a true benzoin fest. In the base a strong styrax note is added, and overall it is very synthetic and unconvincing on my skin, from where is is vanished after two hours. Sample first.

Bought it on clearance, and that's what it's worth,
As for creativity, it features a dearth.
Pleasant and sweetish, like so many more,
Not long-lasting on me--that lowers the score.
I'm neutral on this one; 'twill soon be forgot.
So buy it on clearance--Hot Water's not hot.

Worth it's price, but do not expect anything outstanding. An okay spicy fragrance with a good pimento note and some benzoin. Sillage and lasting power are good (around 6 hours).

Boring. Generic smelling oriental on the sweeter side.

Actually prefer this to Cool Water, which is not to say I was a fan in the first place. This is one I wanna hate, but can't. I expected synthetic garbage, but find it too be fairly natural and smooth.
It's almost as if I have applied Xeryus Rouge lotion to my skin (not sure if such a product exists, but that's what Hot Water smells like to me).
It's basically sweet, red cherry in a warm bathwater base. Pretty light and creamy.
The cherry and cedarwoodsy drydown is nice and reminiscent of Armani Night, without the richness and complexity.
If you can't afford Cereus No 14, this is an okay alternative.

An absolute synthetic mess of a fragrance. Smells cheap and stays that way throughout the life of the fragrance. Toxic water would have been a better name for it.

Guys won't like this fragrance much, well at least I don't nor does my other friend who also has a bottle, but the key factor is girls do!
Girls think Hot Water is sexy and while I think its the worst frag in my wardrobe it gets a lot of compliments! I own both this and 1 Million and if I'm honest I think this is the oriental 1 Million, I guess it never took off...
Overall this IS worth A TRY!

I like it. So there! A lot of these reviews seem to be about how it's not smelling how it "sounds like" it should smell. Well... maybe it is as hot as a wet towel in a fridge. But thats not the point, I like the smell for what it is, artificial and synthetic (I'm brave enough to admit it!). I think it smells great! And I won't mind wearing it at my funeral after the Basenotes guys beat me up...

COMPLETELY AGREEING WITH COL..
the marketing footprint is evident. It's a pity. The real quality should be very poor, resembling somehow the "Axe" (or in some countries "Lynx") "Vice" smell. The idea behind is a sort of Retail cologne, synthetic and Coty based (nothing against Coty, but quality is quality).
Searching for the idea of "hot", look instead for Givenchy Xerious, Habit Rouge (the recent sport version is not so bad as described, in my opinion).

CoL is right. What a wastes opportunity! This smells a lot like Joop! Go (green gottle, exclamation mark) and some other Joops, notably Wolfgang Joop. I am surprised that Davidoff didn't take this opportunity and launch something more bodacious with some fire to it. It's not bad, but the only reason i would try this is to add to the Cool Water plus flankers collection. Other than that, stay clear, waste of money.
