this smells like tommy hilfiger. Since everyone else is copying creed, i wonder if tommy's is an imitation of this.

Got my Molecule and Escentric samples today. Was expecting a bit more. Looks
like enough for 1 outting. I got the cold and my nose is blocked up so i can't
test it yet.

I might cop me a sample but i'm really leaning on that Jean Paul joint.

I came to this thread a long time ago, took some advice and got the Sean John. Soon afterward a girl smelled it and really liked it. We ended up getting more acquainted at another location I saw her at, and we're now seeing each other. She actually admitted to the cologne being part of the reason she liked me.

My next two cologne purchases:yes::yes::yes:

ANY John Varvatos will kill em. I grabbed all of them and i have to say they have worked tremendously with gaining the right attention. They have a limited edition one called "Rock Volume 1" that ladies have stepped over dudes to try and smell me in VIP. If u can find that one GET IT, otherwise grab Artisan, Vintage, and the Original. I don't have Artisan Black yet.

thanks

So is there any way to tell how old it is before i buy it? Are certain sites known for selling colognes that are fairly new?

You are right, on youtube, their number one complaint was that it doesn't last for too long.

I would like to know the answer to this question also.
What are the best places to buy cologne at.
Not just price but self life as well.

I remember awhile back I bought a bottle of polo double black from macys.
Thought it smelled really good, so I bought another bottle 6 months later online b/c it was cheaper.
The second bottle online smelled like straight alcohol.
Totally different from what I bought from macys.

I liked the original alot
It was my top five favorite for a while
Only thing was that it didn't last that long for me
I haven't smelled the others yet
Give me the scoop... how do the others compare... pros & cons
Thanks

what are the top 5 spring/summer fragrances and fall/winter fragrances?

changes up all the time. like doggish said you like something, wear it. there is no RULE that you can't wear something but certain scents are better suited for certain atmospheres. for example, if you're in a real sweatbox of a club where people are smoking & drinking, something like acqua di gio or dolce & gabbana light blue will get lost, go with something more robust like angel men or le male. on the flipside, if you work a cubicle job you may want to stay away from something like joop or givenchy pi & go with something more toned down like gucci pour homme II or dolce & gabbana the one. this is the dude that i get most (well all, let me be honest) fragrance game from. i pretty much have or smelled everything on his list & i've done well

the john varvatos fragrances, i get almost a syrupy vibe off them (which is cool, not a dis). i think they make excellent cool weather fragrances that cut thru the cold without you having to overspray. i don't know if i'll be reaching for them in the summer months but for this time of year they're doing work

on basenotes.com, they suggested that the more popular niche fragrances sold at fragrancenet.com are fresher since don't sit on the shelf too long. But it still seems like a roll of the dice to me. And $270 for a 4oz bottle of Creed from Creed's website is pretty expensive.

Just bought this during the summer...body wash is off the hook as an addition....light scent and not too heavy.

Women love it!!! Trust me you won't go wrong with this.

I just want to rant that some of you have bad taste in cologne. I bought some of the recommended perfumes blindly and am disappointed in them, i will sell them on ebay:smh:

which ones did you get? I never blind buy colognes. I always sample them at the store or buy the samples online.

That's your fault. You should have just bought the samples on Ebay before spending big money on a bottle.

Anyway, this is what I wear now and it is very different and good.

Found an old ass bottle of Paul Sebastion (back when it was neck and neck with Obsession) when I was moving shit around my mother's office/my old room....

Shit don't spray anymore...but you can get it to leak in your hand and rub it on. I was going to go to Macy's and see if the new shit is like the old shit.

I'm a cheap assed nigga. I buy the knockoff colognes from the Russians in the middle of the Gallery mall.
