That's not accurate. The gun laws being proposed would only affect law abiding citizens. Most criminals don't buy their guns in a gun store. They steal them or get them via black market. And don't let them fool you with the background check talk. There are already background check systems in place now. The problem is the multiple depts between federal state and county that don't consistently communicate with each other.

A theory on why: He's either currently a member of a pork department or recently fired/retired member of a pork department. Or he has a member of his family who may be a high ranking member of a pork department. Just my two cents...

Have you ever actually READ a gun control bill? It says nothing about taking away the 2nd amendment (which by the way requires an act of congress with 4/5 of the House and 2/3 of the Senate voting to change it. Picture that happening) and everything about limiting sales to people who are most likely to go postal.
