Does anyone question what parents are doing with regards to their children’s education? Having 2 kids that work in the school system and another one in it, I can safely say most parents don’t do shit to support their kids in school. They would rather fight the teacher when their kids don’t do homework, fail tests in school and don’t do the projects as well as cutting classes. Are there weirdos and crazy teachers going above and beyond? Of course but school is not just daycare. Your kids get what you as a parent put in to it. This is why the good teachers are leaving in droves.
 
I’m in California and my son has been flooded with gay propaganda since Kindergarten. IMO some of this shot is mental illness. The problem is that Liberals prioritize their comfort over everyone else’s. In this video, this man/woman keeps making the assumption that the presentation of gender identity should be equal. Unfortunately, any argument to the contrary is attacked as bigotry.

We need our own platform/political party. In my observations, Black people lean more conservative on most issues, but Conservatives have been the most racist the past few decades.

Honestly, it’s not so much what they are trying to teach. The material is needed for kids to be competent and for them to have the most basic means to compete. The issue is the high-stakes test towards the end of the year that determines if some get to keep their job and your “effectiveness” as a pedagogue.
My first year I was teaching a 7th grade class that was roughly reading at a 1st grade level. My cunt principal demanded I get them to show significant growth; and by growth she meant get them to read at nearly an 8th grade level.

So o remember all that uproar, I found that when I actually did it, and taught this, it was in fact easier and more effective. I dealt with a lot of parents whom just didn't want to unlearn what they had previously held onto all their lives.
Example, Pluto still being a planet to most older folks.

My sister-in-law is married to a trans-man. And they are having a baby. And it’s a boy.

This will one of the most interesting observations I have ever witnessed. It’s one thing to know it exist, but this is hitting close to home. I got no issues with them and their lifestyle.

Two things exist in my life at the same time. I don’t agree with the LBGTQ’s agenda, and I’m supportive of my sister-in-law’s relationship and choice of life.

I went to their gender reveal party. I went because I was totally against the idea of them having a gender reveal party in the first place knowing one of them is a trans man. It was fascinating. Because why are you assigning this child a gender knowing the “husband” struggled with their own? :idea:

I sat in awe while I witnessed humanity’s insanity. Watching the mothers and all the friends cry in happiness. I thinking about how one of the mothers (the husband) will not be blood related to the child. Curious on how “his” mother will react to the child calling her “daughter”, daddy.

Should be an interesting journey to witness.

It’s like watching the weather. I like watching people like I do storms rolling up. Both humans and weather can be turbulent. I guess we are so used to patterns and norms, that when chaos or turbulence enters into the paradigm of stability, it fucks with our perception of the world. Fuck it.

Yup. Got 2 homeboys who teach. And I see it even where I’m at. Even in private schools there are kids who just don’t do the work or act any ol type of way. Then the parents get confrontational and generally assume it’s the fault of the teacher. A decent parent is going to be involved in what they kids is doing. Older kids u don’t have to sit and go over every subject. But u shouldn’t be suddenly finding out ur kids has been making D’s for the last 3 weeks. If so that’s a lack of accountability and support on ur part. That being said, it’s also up to us to make sure they gettin taught right. So if u feel ur kids aren’t being taught correctly, or receiving education in curriculum u think will best prepare them for life/college, the onus is on you, the parent to correct that. I don’t like having to pay tuition for fuckin private schools but what else can we do? Homeschool isn’t feasible for everyone. And I wouldn’t even care so much about this queer shit if it was like a day or a short few hr blocks of instructions. But it’s not. They want it to be a permanent, constant part of the curriculum. Again it ain’t even about being a “bigot”. It’s just that it literally does nothing to prepare children for jobs or a career. Stats about American students being low on the totem pole compared to other countries have already been posted. This has been goin on for some years. And this was before this gender shit came round. Do you think this is going to make us anymore competitive? It won’t. This silly ass generation and even some from our generation are already lazy and entitled. Think they deserve jobs with stock options, full medical dental and work from home options as soon as they graduate high school and college. Can’t barely comprehend English, can barely do math but u want a job that pays 6 figures. Makes no sense

This is part of the reason for my question.

With my oldest I won parent of the year at two different schools so the staff knew me very well.

I plan on taking the same approach with my youngest but I pray I that I don't run into a teacher like this for my youngest because I wouldn't know how to handle it.

Speaking out against somebody like this teaching this nonsense might fuck around get me labeled as a bigot or "transphobic."


Biggest argument I got into with a teacher with my oldest was about Santa Clause.

I can't imagine having to have a conversation about trans bullshit being taught in class with somebody as delusional as this.

Yeah, the principles/campus presidents have unrealistic expectations concerning student performance. And it sucks that these schools put things on teachers they can’t even control.

My Former employee used to put student attendance on us. My raise was based on student attendance and performance.

That’s the thing about being a hands on parent though. As a teacher, I fully expect you to correct what you disagree with at home.

Also, for the sake of your children, we can’t be around them when they are at school. My daughter attends school with kids that are trans or identify as some other type of gender and/or sexuality. All I can do is teach her how to navigate this stuff, but as I mentioned in the previous post, her Aunt is in a lesbian relationship with a trans man, therefore making their relationship heterosexual.

I can be mad about all this as much as I want to, but it exist.

Yeah, it’s a different world. Hell trying to teach about racism to a young child is a tall task.

I remember when my daughter first started elementary and black history month came up, the assignments and projects were mind blowing.

I had to do correction often, but what can I really expect from a middle aged conservative white woman? :lol:

This trans/LGBTQ shit is no different in my eyes.

There is a HUGE leap teaching Black History versus LGBTQ "tolerance". I have no problem teaching LGBTQ history, but what this woman(?) is talking about isn't history. LGBTQ comes up in Sex Ed. cool, that's where it belongs! I sat with my son during his kindergarten class during the pandemic. Heterosexual relationships didn't come up during his class, I don't see a reason for heterosexuality to come up until maybe 4th-5th grade.

You know what heterosexuality did come up in my sons class when the teacher was talking about her husband and that was the extent of it. If she were gay and talking about her wife, I have no issue with that in the context of the conversation with her class. But I need to be the one to teach that relationship to my kids at that age cause she is teaching HER experience not education.
