Yeah, man. Very interesting stuff to see the human mind adjust when normalities are challenged. I’m having to do this with my “brother”-in-law.
I’d be lying if I say I wasn’t somewhat amused by all this nonsense. It’s like a dome of hypocrisy entrapping people into a state of caring until the next political issue arises.
Yeah - especially for young people because you're talking about SERIOUS, life-changing decision-making.
My mom was telling me about her niece last year and said she's sort of sad & lost. It's one thing for someone close to you to be underdoing something serious. Let alone 2 of the closest people to you that you "thought you knew".
Also ... trying to figure out and process your thoughts and emotions. As your parents, grandparents, or aunts & uncles don't really have much advice to offer ... as they weren't dealing with these societal issues during their day. What help or advice can they suggest?
