Got slashed on my right cheek with a razor blade in '89. left me with another 4 inch mouth that I could smile through with my molars! Scar is only just visible now when I shave but the stubble don't grow back over the scar.

The Oscars has the same protocol that the comedy clubs do when the comic comes on stage. This isn't new. It's like this every year, regardless of the comedian. Been like this for decades.

Secondly who is to say that he knew about her medical condition? I didn't. And no one I talked to and most of the people in this thread didn't either until this incident. It's likely that Chris Rock didn't know about here alopecia either.

He ain't even really insult her. He just said he was looking forward to seeing her starring in the new G.I. Jane...a joke. I recall people liking Demi's extra short hair look from that movie back in the day. Never have I heard anyone (including Chris Rock) say that Jada looked bad with short hair. She's been rocking extra short cuts since the late 90s. Looked beautiful on the show.

Chris's response was exactly what it should have been in that venue. Just because Will lost his shit to his own emotions doesn't mean Chris should follow. Then what? We've got these two Black men fist fighting on stage further fucking up the night for everybody there worse than it already was from that emotional fake gangsta shit Will Smith pulled. If I was in Chris's place, Will would've got snatched up and body slammed to the stage trying to walk away. But I'm not a Hollywood star or an Oscars presenter or little like Chris either. If someone puts hands on me it's a wrap. In the end, this is on Will and his she-motions.

Chris gonna claim he aint know but it was public knowledge and Will and Chris run in the same circles


I'm saying all the ingredients were there for this outcome but Chris aint WITHOUT any responsibility for being slapped.

.... Don't get it twisted family I fully understand that his wife was disrespected but at the same time it was starting to look like someone was killing a gnat with a cannonball.. I just believe it would have had a greater impact if people would have had some speculation about what happened but yet Chris Rock might have had a swollen jaw or a fat lip
