I've been thinking about adding one of these steam showers to my house. What are you guys think? What are you guys know about steam showers?

I think it's weird as fuck that they have FM, CD or MP3 connectivity and not Bluetooth.

I'm trying to find one with Bluetooth, chromotherapy (light therapy). Is it possible to add the Bluetooth myself outside of what comes with one of these models?

Either way, what are you guys think/know about steam showers

I don't know much about the steam shower units, but I can say there are a lot of good waterproof bluetooth speakers. I take one into my gym's steam room, so a steam shower is likely ok as well. A quick search over at Amazon will provide you with multiple options.

Roger that. I should be doing the tankless water heater first and hopefully soon.

The steam shower is a project that's gonna cost cash, but I'm not going cheap at all. I've got the money and I'm down to under $5,000 on my credit cards with about $30,000 limit

i'm most interested in the steam shower
the tankless h2o heater is something that i could easily install myself
i want to redo the full bath in my crib and i've decided to redo the half bath in the basement first
so i can shower when i tear out the upstairs bathroom
i might explore alternative options on materials
like cement boards and epoxy for shower walls
,maybe water jets on the walls in the shower downstairs
you guys will see it when i do it

Recently built a drying station for a dog groomer. I’m not a carpenter just can make things work :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: .

They drew up the blueprints:cool::cool:, with the idea of cutting down the drying time. The timeframe for large dogs take 2hours.
So they ordered a octopus dryer, to do away with the regular shop vac.

Yea when dogs go in for a grooming they get a wash up and hair cut

they want me to build a washing station next… Something that will resemble this

i gave my dog a bath once and used the shop vac on her
she is suffering from ptsd
she's afraidof vac cleaners but will walk right up to the lawnmower
if i was building the doggie shower
i would go with a x large shower pan instead of tub and a waterfall head with a hand-held rinse
i tiled floor with a floor drain outside of it

i have a fan like that but to me it is to powerful to point at any living being
i would use that on the other side of the room with a heat source in between

Little fence project I recently helped with.
a local fence company Need a extra hand, so I said he’ll yea, get a couple of dollars but I knew I’d get some valuable knowledge.

on the few fences I’ve did, my biggest issues been is them damn gates…
So I knew I could pick their brains along with watching how they built/installed theirs

biggest thing I noticed was quality of material
(Cedar fence boards, cedar 2x4’s for gate frames & non cheap hinges)

Cedar is a better grade of wood.
Normally it don’t bend or warp
the 2x4’s are not heavy like treated pine… so for a gate it’s ideal.

I had a lady come by and do some cleaning around the house. I already had a rainfall shower but she was saying it was hard for her to clean the shower or at least wipe it down because I didn't have a handheld sprayer,

I bought a combo rainfall and handheld sprayer and put it on myself adding the plumbers tape to avoid any leaks

Hell yea….

Cedar 2x4 for building gate… weigh less than treat pine, better cut of wood, rarely bend liek pine…. Spend money and get the better grade hinges

Once your name is in a certain circle you’re good
are the fence sections cedar or pine?
