I'm proud of myself man. I disconnected and reattached a new temperature and pressure valve on my hot water heater.
I'm not the most capable motherfuker with tools I'm not even going to bullshit you, but I did it
My temperature and pressure valve was leaking and I had a plumber come over to fix a leak that he screwed up.
He didn't charge me but while he was here I had him look at my hot water tank that was leaking and he discerned that my temperature and pressure valve is leaking and that it was a quick easy fix
I went to Home Depot, got the part that was like 18 bucks and installed it
Then, I realized I wasn't getting hot water. My pilot light had gone out so I watch the Youtube video and fixed it myself and turn the pilot light on. Now I'm about to take a fucking shower
Youtube is awesome
I got Ohio basement systems to come out to finish my basement but they can't come out until November. Meanwhile, 3 days ago we had a lot of rain and I removed seven buckets of water from my basement because my Foundation is leaking water into my houseI wish the fuck I would try to finish my basement on my own.
I got a friend I went to high-school with who can build houses from the ground up. He'll do my basement. God you don't have a sump pump?I got Ohio basement systems to come out to finish my basement but they can't come out until November. Those bullshit ass concrete block Foundation bricks leak like a motherfuker after 25 years
Once I get that done I will have my basement finished oh, but I don't think I'm capable enough to do that shit on my own
No. All that is coming when they waterproof my basement but the house wasn't built with one unfortunatelyI got a friend I went to high-school with who can build houses from the ground up. He'll do my basement. God you don't have a sump pump?
Floating shelves
I feel you, that shit is smoothCan’t lie. This is inspiring me to grab my tools, saw, drills , hammer……and just go fuck up some shit in the basement. Or poke holes in the walls.
Post pics I gotta do all those projectsDamn, how I miss this thread. Just finished installing a subway glass tile backsplash and installing at least 12 slab doors.
About to get this recessed lighting project started soon. Trying to finish before I have to go back to work onsite.
Post pics I gotta do all those projects
I've done tile projects before ... heated bathroom floors and it was a pain but ok once I got the measurements correct. Not looking forward to cutting glass on a wet saw.The slab doors aren't anything to write home about. I bought them pre bored, so I only had to mortise the hinges with a router and trim them with a circular saw.
Here's the backsplash. Pic was taken before I finalized the under cabinet lighting. Shit was an adventure. Working with glass and a wet saw...
Add some good wood glue to toothpicks and insert 1 or 2 in each hole. Let it dry then cut flush and reinsert the screw.I've done tile projects before ... heated bathroom floors and it was a pain but ok once I got the measurements correct. Not looking forward to cutting glass on a wet saw.
My problem with the doors is the holes on some of them are straight up too loose for the screws. I was just gonna get doors but I think I need the whole frame for at least 2 of them.
Jersey.No. All that is coming when they waterproof my basement but the house wasn't built with one unfortunately
Where are you from and how much would your boy charge if he is relatively close enough?

Wood flooring
That's clean asfThe slab doors aren't anything to write home about. I bought them pre bored, so I only had to mortise the hinges with a router and trim them with a circular saw.

I did 2 sets of wood flooring without a pneumatic nailer. I had a manual one and that shit put muscles on my shoulders, back, wrists and fingers.
Electric, wiring
I suppose it's better than just tape, but I would have soldered the wires.
