As a homeowner I try to do as much as I can by myself. I just did some Landscaping on my property by putting down rubber mulch. Rubber mulch holds his color for 12 years versus 1-3 years for regular mulch
I got quotes for everything between $1200 and $2,000
I went to Walmart and loaded up my car. The first time I got 50 bags and the guy miscounted and only charged me for 22
Then I used the stupidity of Walmart against them. I needed more so I went back a second time , paid for 20 but took 40 because they didn't send anybody back there with me. And all I paid about $600. I have 6 bags I'm about to take back to Walmart to get my $36 back
I got some mulch guard for the edges, this look really makes the Oleander bushes I bought stand out
My dad is an electrician and I have installed too many to count outlets, ceiling fans, switches, and breaker boxes. Never knew about this hidden tool.
look at that pipe on that flap... that’s key
Are you sure that is mold?My God damn hot water heater. Ain't that a bitch? My water heater caused this
How often do you all walk around the entirety of your property? The entirety of your house? First floor, second floor, attic and basement?
This needs to become a thing for all of us homeowners. At least once every two weeks. Put it in your phone to remind you
Look at this bullshit. I had water pooling in my basement and I had no idea. I used to go down in the basement to hit the heavy bag, but ever since I got my Oculus in February I haven't had a need to hit the heavy bag so I haven't been in my basement since April
Sometime in the last month all of this happened. My hot water heater leaked and now there is mold in my fucking basement
At least once every two weeks, every homeowner needs to walk the entirety of their house to ensure there is no leakage anywhere. Catching it small before it gets big. This is going to cost me a grip
Right now I'm spraying a combination of bleach and water on the mold hoping to kill it. I just ordered another dehumidifier I'll be here on Thursday with hopes of drying out my basement
Pretty positive bro. The way it spread oh, yeah it's mold. When I brush it you can see the sporesAre you sure that is mold?
What a week.
Got a ranch on a slab with central air ducts in the slab. The heavy rains let me know the slab isn't entirely sealed. Found water in one of the ducts. Put the wet vac to work and then every other day till it was dry to the touch.
The same rain storm broke 3 posts on a tent I had up. Thinking about replacing it with a gazebo
Today the main bathroom wouldn't stop running water. Thought about calling a plumber cuz I was working in the shed, but said fuck it and hit up youtube. Turned out it was the catridge Which ended up being stuck. Had to get a bootleg Meon cartridge removal tool to take it out.
I say it's a bad design if you need to make a tool to remove a part that gets stuck, but it probably makes them money.
But I'm starting the week good now that everything is working.. Had a nice BBQ and winding down with Vodka and lemonade.
