I get it, but things need to be broken down and prioritized. We already see how hard it is when you go against the gun industry. We also see that the NRA says nothing in regards to black lives being lost due to gun violence. We need to focus our efforts on things that are close to our hearts so if you have an issue with American Gun Culture and not black life being lost due to guns then that should be your focus. Banning drill music is real cause and effect. We see it happening in our communities. I think because we don't have a strong community concept is why this shit is happening. People are really dying because of these dumb-ass songs being publicized, so not getting them publicized should be an easy 1st step to the broader gun issue we are facing. I'm not sure how you don't see that. Ending our gun culture is the main goal, yes but we have to tackle all the elements that contribute to American Gun Culture. I'm more concerned about us as a people and not any crackers because we already know the white man's deal. We can't worry about everybody else when we barely care about our own. This we are the world theory is for the bird's bro, it's a way to not focus on anything actionable. Nearly 70 years ago they wanted to ban Rock and Roll. 30-40 years before that some wanted to ban Jazz and Ragtime. It seems any music that has our fingerprints on its creation and tells what's going on in our portion of Americana is deemed unacceptable. I am no fan of Drill Rap. It's not something I would ever listen to but I recognize it as a symptom of a much bigger multicultural issue we face as a nation. Trumpisim and Covid have laid bare the threads of injustice, anger, and ignorance that are woven into the fabric of the USA. I feel we are getting to a point of no return with many of our problems. It's a simple choice of treating symptoms or treating the disease. For far too long The US just treats symptoms as it is the easy way out. Meanwhile, the disease festers on and causes more destruction.
