That pic of the actor who plays Rza is a

How you a fag and represent the leader of one of the hardest groups ever.
how you a grown man letting an actor's perceived sexuality color how you feel about a show..?? if you never saw that pic or knew anything about his backstory, how would you feel..?? thats the same way you should feel knowing he dresses effeminate sometimes. grow up. niggas'd be really fucked up if they knew how many of their favorite rappers, actors and athletes lay with men.

Dude still has no Rza to him. As much as Rza says "knownmsayin" when he talks, this dude speaks like he's reading. I'm still there on the 8th though

Just saw first 3 episodes of 2nd Season, first episode got intense for a second... Definitely worth checking out.

Mario Van Peebles doing a decent job. They are hitting on a lot of shit from the Steubenville days(left out of shit and changed the story a bit) to the return to SINY.

this show is good
really like it. also dope to see how they came up with the beats and songs

It's incredible

I watched all 4 back to back without realizing it.

Their ability to weave all these elements together is so hip hop

It's like the writing editing sound music and direction is inspired by RZA production style.

To me that ferry episode should be submitted to the Emmy

It's enter the dragon, Kung fu movie, spaghetti western, high noon, Clint Eastwood, anime, comic books, Greek myth and more

The use of that sample, the boat announcer, the maze of the boat...

The wise fool merchant...

And then the "speech"

please don't lose that...

It is RARE to hear that type of honesty and vulnerability in real street slang.

The entire series is unexpectedly very heartfelt

There are so many moments that COULD BE CORNY

But they always straddle the line

It's not perfect

But it's creativity and its honestly to me at least is what truly makes it special

especially in the hip hop genre.
