Yeah you re right because of the home testing not being counted.Uptick is putting it lightly.
Keep in mind more people are testing at home and not reporting positive results to anyone, there aren't as many testing sites as they're were previously meaning some aren't getting tested at all unless they require medical treatment and, at least here in New York State, both the state and county Department of Health offices are no longer really making an effort to track cases and exposures unless people are hospitalized.
These numbers are significantly higher than is being reported and have been steadily increasing since before Easter with no indication of a drop.
And keep in mind mother's day is right around the corner.

In Alpharetta the people who are wearing masks are Blacks Hispanics and people from India.
This coronavirus is going to be around for a long time we just have to hope we don’t get a severe mutation.
I actually agree with you.It will definitely mutate into something that whip thru the planet like a uncontrollable wildfire.
It’s not if….it’s when.
I Always said that we are over 1 million ever since last yearI guarantee they lying on the numbers to keep it from 1 million.
They should have let it hit 1 million a couple of months ago, having it happen this close to Memorial Day weekend won’t be good.
The Biden administration is doing OK
‘Treat Me Nicely’: Trump’s Pandemic Response Was Somehow Worse Than We Thought
Tasos Katopodis/GettyIn the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, as cases spread rapidly and deaths mounted, then-President Donald Trump threatened to withdraw help for governors who didn’t treat him “nicely,” and his aides barred the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from giving...www.yahoo.com
Couldn't tell people shit. Still can't. It reminds me of how people think condoms are supersuits. There is a reason every other place bumped up the booster interval to 3 fucking months. Shit ain't sustainable, so hold your own nuts in the U.S.
She will be OK because she is vaccinated

No they're not. Nor is anyone else in this country regardless of political party.
And still, NOTHING will happen to him.
Folks have fooled themselves into believing da vaccination is a silver bullet and prior messaging on behalf of da administration and da CDC attributed it to it. See below.
Just keep on thinkin' this will always be da case. This type of thinkin' is gonna have folks laid up in hospitals or da grave.
Good. At this point, I welcome it. Cull da herd. If any of us are included when it comes, it was simply our time. Fuck it.
The fucked up thing is that's not uncommon for vaccinated people but you never hear about this anywhere.
Right now, we are struggling with three very distinct groups:They're not gonna say anything about it cause they were foolishly banking on da vaccine being da end all/be all unlike other countries that seemingly knew better.
What else could Biden do? Hell congress wont even give him money to fund COVID preventative measuse moving forward.Right now, we are struggling with three very distinct groups:
1) People who are taking this disease seriously: primarily consisting of folks that have been being careful and taking care of themselves since this started, but also including people who have learned the hard way and now know better.
2) People who refuse to take this seriously: including people who, through ignorance or outright denial, refuse to take any precautions, including basic ones.
3) People in the middle: folks who think this may be a serious thing, but through misdirection and downplaying in the late stages have grown complacent with not using precautions because they've bought into the narrative that "the worst is over".
As Group 3 increases, so will the inherent risk of things. What's sad is that if everyone had just used a little bit of precaution in the beginning of things, we'd probably be done with this by now. But we decided to use attrition instead of precaution, and that's created the entirety of the struggle we've been in.
A lot (I'd say most) of the early stage fuckery falls on Trump and Co., But Biden is trying his best to make people forget that with the way he's been handling things.
