“Most inmates with his 24-month sentence would already be on home confinement or a half-way house, but as your Honor may recall, Mr. Hernandez’s status as a cooperating witness and a government hold has made him ineligible for these programs."

Man, I hope she is joking. What happened to reading a book and making your child do a book report on the book. What happened to making your child do math problems that you can find on the internet. I dunno. My ex-wife’s mother during the summer months took her two children to the library and made them pick out a book and read it and then do a book report. She also made up math quizzes for them. I guess that’s why one of them is an Electrical Engineer and the other has a PhD. Smh. Her children have no hope for the future.
