Because Covid isn’t deadly enough, there will be many folks that comes out on the other end of this pandemic just fine while they were anti everything (mask, mandates, vaccine, and so forth). You already can’t tell them anything now.

People are still playing games, but the truth is that the hospital system(s) are still stretched to capacity at the moment. So any surge of anything leading to any new hospitalizations will fuck the system. Hell, just that fact alone should be enough to make people consider more rigid safety, but some of them just won't do it.
Which is why I've said if anything comes down the pipeline deadlier than COVID in the future, it'll be a wrap for humanity. This could have served as a good "dry run" for a potentially more deadly event, but instead people decided to play games with it.
To some people Covid is deadly but when this virus turns into a super virus a lot more people is going to die
