It happened so fast. I had to process it when I came back home Monday afternoon because me and her been friends for over 20 years and she died out of nowhere. The last time I had a real conversation with her was in June of 2019. We usually chat after I wish a Happy Birthday(January 31st) to her but she's been busy taking care of her kid the last two years. If,it wasn't for the mutual friend that texted me Monday morning I wouldn't have known or found out much later.
This is,why I fucking hate unvaccinated people because they act like this shit is the flu or the common cold.

I am sorry about your loss and agree that we can't let the unvaccinated keep exacerbating what would be a less than ideal but manageable situation otherwise.
We just need to make being vaccinated a prerequisite to receiving medical treatment and move on. The unvaccinated are more unhinged now than they were to start and coddling them is having a real impact on the healthcare workers as well as those who did the right things but still end up sick. Europe has implemented sticks (mandates, quarterly fines, etc.) that we don't have the ability to as a result of our political structure. They can safely reopen knowing that they have a much higher % of vaccinated people and they can reimpose the mandates etc. as quickly as they removed them. Continuing to accommodate these unreasonable idiots here is going to lead to more unnecessary death and suffering for no reason.
They are unapologetic in their selfishness and ignorance so I have no problem saying fuck them...
Talked to my mom the other day, and some friends of the family recently dealt with the virus.
Mom's friend and her boyfriend are in their early-70s, and they tested negative. Glad she was alright, as she's dealt with other health issues for years.
Mom's friend son and his wife & child were visiting from California. The 3yo kid and mom (early-40s) tested positive and had to isolate and stay longer before heading home. He headed home early for work without issue prior to them testing positive.
The wife's parents also tested positive and had more serious symptoms before recovering. Early-70s.
