Despite the caveats I usually make with this, this is fundamentally true. Or at the very least, this is going to be the government's position on this.It does makes sense tho. The government can’t force people to use rational judgment.
At this point, there are so many options to keep people from death. It is basically an issue for the none vaccinated
Basically, they've done the math, and determined that breakthrough/serious infections in the vaccinated are small enough that they represent acceptable loss. Everyone else is going to be on their own, and they've adjusted policy to reflect that. People thinking that this is over without taking the appropriate precautions are probably going to find out the hard way.
