Please keep an eye on China I don’t know what’s going on but just to be on the safe side keep an eye on this country when it comes to this virus. This shit is getting very serious over there and this may be a start of another wave depending on The variant.

Like I said earlier, it’s coming.

Check your local weather for the next week, it’s warming up.

Spring Break is later this month.

Folks want to be out and party. They have lifted all the mandates.

We will see a repeat of what happened the Spring of 2020 and 2021 for sure.

What's extra dumb about this is that he's too stupid to realize that the masks primarily protect him, not the other way around. He should want a group of people that he is unfamiliar with to be masked if they are around him. Then again, his ignorance is the common thread shared by all of these detractors.

Man, da early days/months of this shit will forever be etched in my mind. In all actuality, I can say (with no shame) that I'm traumatized by it.

I remember driving to work and the streets being eerily calm. Sitting at a distance from my coworker at shift report getting updates, and just not wanting to be there. We have to be there in person for our work, and WFH isn't an option.

Felt really bad for the many grocery store workers as their workload was heavily increased, and there was so much fear of the unknown. They were very much frontline / essential workers with the level of panic in society. Used to shop on Saturday mornings, and it's now been early on a weekday instead (to avoid crowds).

You not alone fam.

Irreparable damage has been done.

It was good to see the amount of articles in recent years re: mental health / support services.

Also re: the impact on the growing population in kids & teens.

How their normal methods of education got derailed, and of course missing out on plenty of other factors like socialization, picking up on social cues, building self-confidence, and all the "play" / exercise time spent with their peers. Stuff we take for granted at times, but are really beneficial for kids growing up.

Covid really did a number on the world.

My oldest son is a senior in High School this year. I literally cant say that he's had a normal high school experience. You know, those years you never forget for the rest of your life. He doesnt realize that yet of course. But it breaks my heart that he had to live through it at that time in his life.

Agreed: high school years can be fun, but also stressful and challenging enough on their own. Let alone with a global pandemic thrown in.

That fear of the unknown too ... especially with kids thinking about the health and safety of their own parents & grandparents, etc. Their friends' families, etc.
