Remember we’re often told Deion don’t recruit, his staff don’t visit kids, they don’t do the dirty work and all of that other stuff…

Just remember a lie don’t care who tells it

It's gotta be Travis. He could be an AA at WR and CB. He's the best overall player in CFB

Dude definitely 1st team AA at both positions

Well maybe second team at wideout

But probably get first team Athlete

No fuck that he first team at both, dude is the Heisman from runner on some boards

They be trying so hard to give it to the best QB but this ain't the year. Cam had a great season but it's Travis' to lose at this point. Jeanty has a say if he breaks Barry's record but Travis is the best player in the country regardless of position

I like hearing other folks say this

I listen to Deion so much, I hear him state this often and it’s convincing.
I learnt early on, Deion is a fucking salesman so even though I agree with nearly everything he say, it’s clear what he’s doing

Surprised On3 doing this

I saw Jeanty tear up the #1 team in the land by himself, I'm a Cam guy but he hasn't had a Heisman moment or beat anybody of note either. Travis is an amazing player but he hasn't really had amazing plays vs top flight comp either...just my opinion

2025

Position and classification
Corner
dj McKinney- Junior
Colton Hood - RS sophomore
Isiah Hardge - sophomore (he play both ways also)

Safety
Carter Stoudimire - sophomore

Like I said A lie don’t care who tells it

Can’t call it a lie if it came directly from Prime..lol

I brought it up on the board before it hit the media. I knew it was going to be criticized for it and rightfully so.

So he said he don’t recruit high schoolers , he said his staff don’t hit the road and recruit… this what I’m understanding right

But you can’t build a team focusing on the portal

You can get former 5star players who classified as redshirt freshman, sophomores

Couple potential upsets from 12-16 that could pop us to the 12th or 13th spot. Not sleeping on Utah vs 17 CU though after TT last week and we in that part of the season where teams have settled in.

IMO, Colorado HAS to win the Big 12 to get to the playoff. They dont have the strength of schedule to get to the playoff any other way especially with this being biased to the Big 10 and the SEC. I like Marcus Freeman, but I would love for CU to get in the playoff and beat the brakes off ND. That would get white folks REALLY mad

Miami has been stacking top 8 classes 3 years in a row....plus, they will spare no expense to acquire talent. On the other hand CU will be without 2 of the top 10 players in the nation and very little depth. Back to reality...
Miami is going to suck next year without CAM.

This doesn't prove that you can build quality depth, every one of those teams that utilize the portal effectively also have high quality high school recruiting classes...

True, I’m say this even tho It was only a handful

A one point during the critical part of the game, there was 3 true freshman on the field. Cash, Jordan and Miller while that don’t address the grant scheme you’re speaking on, it show they doing what they can with high schoolers

I think they identify talent well...they just don't go after enough. If Deion focused on both the high school classes and cherry picked the portal, he could build a monster...That is why I selfishly don't want him at FSU...He could do so much damage with that talent pool and his legendary status

I think Deion being Deion is one of thr issues with high school kids. Not that he don’t go after them, he ain’t about breaking bread for every single player.

Kids be asking for racks on top of racks for visits.
Deion ole school work hard then the bag will come, have been keeping multiple tip dawgs away from him.
So for me that is an issue with him.
Not that he don’t recruit like some like to say, just his recruiting method(lack of huge money upfront) don’t sit well with everyone.

For as people graduating, we really should be just talking about Trav, Shilo, #2 and Cam. Outside of them, there’s really no other true Primers. Anyone else is portal kids. WhY can’t they land those kids again, coach them up doing the off-season and ball again?

If not send y’all class to Boulder to help Prime out

Deion better adjust with the times or him and Dabo are gonna get passed up lol. Regarding people leaving: your QB, Trav, top four receivers 2 OL, a couple DL and edge guys, and my 2 favorites on the D #41 and #7...that's a lot even for a top 10 team to recover from so Colorado will have hella work to do to just match this year.

And we can't afford to send talent elsewhere  Hell, half of SMU's squad are Miami transfers lol...

Hell yea that’s definitely alotta but im
Sure they go get replacements from the same spot they found most of them…

And don’t get it twisted, them redshirt players getting major burn this year…

Jeremiah Brown and Trevor Woods redshirted and still Practicing

That edge K wade, got 3 1/2 sacks in 3 games…
So they got dawgs that’s ready to hunt in the background waiting

but the biggest issues will be the comfort level of the next qb and who’s the other safety to go with Carter soutmire

Former Utah coach says Isaac Wilson likely out vs. Colorado

Utes can't afford to go down another quarterback but that might be the case this week

Kenny Lee| 1 Hour Ago
In this story:

Rob Gray-Imagn Images

Former Utah head coach Ron McBride revealed in a radio interview with KSL in Salt Lake City that he believes Isaac Wilson will be unavailable for the Utes’ game against No. 18 Colorado on Saturday due to illness. If true, this would leave head coach Kyle Whittingham and Utah with just one healthy quarterback for the pivotal matchup.

Wilson, who was named the starter earlier in the week, had recently reclaimed the role following Brandon Rose’s season-ending surgery to repair a torn ligament in his foot. The Utes’ quarterback room has been plagued by injuries throughout the season, with Wilson potentially joining a growing list of sidelined players. Utah’s issues began with veteran Cam Rising, who faced multiple injuries before being shut down for the season. Rising’s absence was followed by Sam Huard’s departure, and then Rose’s injury, leaving Utah scrambling for options.

Wilson himself has been playing through adversity, reportedly dealing with a pre-existing injury while stepping in for Rising earlier in the season. His potential absence would thrust Luke Bottari, listed as the backup, into the starting role. Bottari started against Colorado last season in a game where the Buffaloes were without their star quarterback, Shedeur Sanders. This time, however, the Buffaloes will enter the game at full strength and as heavy favorites.

For Colorado, the matchup is another opportunity to solidify their standing as one of the most compelling teams in college football under head coach Deion Sanders. The Buffaloes are led by quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who has consistently delivered strong performances, supported by standout talents like Travis Hunter. With Utah potentially down to one quarterback, the Buffaloes’ defense will look to capitalize.

The game is scheduled for Noon ET on FOX, with Colorado aiming to maintain their momentum and Utah battling to overcome yet another significant setback. As injuries continue to mount for the Utes, the depth and resilience of their roster will be tested against a high-powered Colorado team.
