The Recruit
Season 2
6 Episodes

6/10

I started watching the new season this morning at home and finished this afternoon.

It picked up immediately after the events of the season 1 finale. All the major surviving supporting characters return.

Owen gets involved with a new case in Korea.

There is still some sexual tension between Lester and Violet. Amelia still looking Smashable. Nichka is running around like the “Black Widow”.

General Counsel Nyland and CIA Operative Dawn are still driving themselves crazy dealing with Owen.

There is some interesting “Conspiracy” stuff involving Cryptocurrency that will have you thinking twice about getting involved with it.

Like the first season, you have to watch with disbelief as Owen engages in hand to hand combat with experienced fighters and manages to get out of trouble. He does it again this season a few times.

Also like the first season. Episode titles are acronyms that are spoken fully in the episode.

The season is two episodes shorter than season one. It has the same flow/pace as the first.

The season closed out the main plot line and did not introduce anything new. The series is ranked in Netflix top 10, so good chance it’s getting high viewership.

No word on a 3rd season renewal.

I loved that first season completely unexpected fun ride.

Rumor is the numbers were SUPER SOLID and they definitely locked in for a season 3

But this is Netflix so there is NEVER a definite.

Whelp like I said this IS NETFLIX

Daredevil: Born Again

Back like he never left.
Starting with the actors and acting first,Charlie Cox is still as brilliant Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin nails it in every scene he's in even with a simple line of dialogue about disgust. The first 14 minutes of episode 1 delivers a gut punch. The action sequences are on point and then some from the tracking shots to how they play out visually. The CGI is a bit off in a couple of scenes .There are nice touches along the way, that include learning to smile again, and someone that makes you smile. Its amazing how a lot of these TV shows and movies truly capture and are mirror images of the world we are living in now. A person can try to bury who they truly are but something draws them back from that deep down burial and you are going to be you.

PARADISE SEASON FINALE

I know some people are upset about the identity of the assassin but just look at history and who were assassins and attempted assassins of Presidents were. Now i did have a problem with some of the security around the President during the time and what it took physically to get to the President. Still looking forward to season 2

Fuckin’ Netflix does it again.

Netflix users blame The Night Agent for ‘unfair’ cancellation of their favourite series

“They released this and the night agent within the same month. What did they expect,” one viewer wrote, with another adding: “Kept on confusing this show for The Night Agent anytime I saw news about it so maybe it was destined to be axed.”

yup i posted it a few days ago... this doesn't make sense.

Netflix aint showing the rating numbers either.

These 2 shows aint REALLY nothing alike but should have been released separately.

Surprising how many seasons they got out of this reboot / spinoff.

Thought for sure Roseanne was going to derail it for everyone with her actions years ago.

The Conners is an American television sitcom created by Matt Williams and developed by Bruce Helford, Bruce Rasmussen, and Dave Caplan for ABC as a direct continuation of the series Roseanne. The series is produced by Werner Entertainment, with Bruce Helford serving as executive producer and features actors John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, Jayden Rey and Jay R. Ferguson.

A planned renewal for Roseanne's eleventh season was cancelled in May 2018, due to controversial tweets by its star Roseanne Barr on Twitter. The next month, ABC ordered a spin-off and confirmed the adult principal cast's involvement, while Kenney, McNamara and Rey were confirmed in August.

The series premiered on October 16, 2018, airing in the Tuesday 8:00 p.m. slot its predecessor was scheduled to hold during the 2018–19 television season. On October 26, 2018, ABC ordered an extra episode, bringing the episode number to eleven.[1]

On March 22, 2019, the series was renewed for a second season of 13 episodes.[2] On May 14, 2019, ABC ordered six extra episodes, expanding the number to 19. An additional episode was then ordered, with season 2 totaling 20 episodes.[3] The second season premiered on September 24, 2019.[4] On May 21, 2020, ABC renewed the series for a third season, and it was announced that season 3 would move from Tuesday to Wednesday,[5] which premiered on October 21, 2020.[6] On May 14, 2021, the series was renewed for a fourth season,[7] which premiered on September 22, 2021.[8]

On May 13, 2022, the series was renewed for a fifth season,[9] which premiered on September 21, 2022.[10] On October 12, 2022, ABC expanded the series' fifth season to feature its largest season to date, ordering 22 episodes for the 2022–23 U.S. TV season, which concluded on May 3, 2023.[11] On May 16, 2023, the series was renewed for a sixth season,[12] which premiered on February 7, 2024.[13] On May 10, 2024, the series was renewed for a seventh and final season consisting of six episodes, which will premiere on March 26, 2025.[14][15]

Imagine if they had The Night Manager running at the same time as these ones too, lol.

The shit is getting old with these cancellations.

I’m still debating about watching “Supercell”. I know it’s been renewed for a 2nd season, but how many Netflix series have come out and never made it past season 2?

If they gonna cancel shit, then do a final season or a movie to officially close it out.

but if we don't watch those shows at all then they DEFINATLEY have no hope.

the thing is your 100% RIGHT though

Netflix now has a well earned reputation for prematurely (at least by the fans estimation) too many "cult" shows.

And NEVER releasing the REAL numbers we will never know the REAL reason why they are being discontinued.

Netflix is still operating like they did 10+ years ago when they were the only streaming service on the market.

When they started doing series, there was no competition. Network TV wasn’t putting out anything worth watching and Cable, HBO, Showtime were putting out the premiere series back then.

What gave the Netflix the jump was releasing all the episodes at once. Netflix would debut the new season on a Thursday, folks would get off of work Friday and start binging the season Friday night going thru Saturday which gave it high ratings.

Now, there is a shit load of streaming sites putting out top content. Folks only have a limited time to watch all this shit, especially if you working a 9/5 job and possibly doing overtime. Lots of folks are working multiple jobs so their personal time is limited.

And like i pointed out earlier, cuz folks are struggling financially, they bounce around from streaming services and only purchase one at a time, bing everything that came out over the past year, cancel and wait until next year to do again, and jump to the next streaming service…

And it doesn’t help that you gotta wait 2 or more years for a new season.

Netflix needs to adjust quickly or they gonna lose longtime monthly subscribers.
