ZERO DAY

3 episodes in
The show covers all the bases of when the United States...the world is hit with a major crisis. First were all united but then the judgement, back stabbing and what can i gain from this starts to show.
The cast is great but some of the paths of the show are lacking and feels old hat. It's funny how there are so many whispery conversations on this show that i have to turn the volume up but then there's an explosion or some exciting moment and i have to lower the volume before waking up the entire neighborhood.

THE EASTERN GATE on MAX

4 episodes in
This series about Polish spy Ewa (Lena Gora) going on various missions. As she tries to collect information from the Russians, is pretty good. Spies walking the fine line of being caught,to involved and brutaly tortured or worse. Strong performances and a lot of suspense.

At this year's ceremony, the "In Memoriam" segment omitted several stars, including Gen V actor Chance Perdomo, One Life to Live's Thom Christopher, and Grease actress Susan Buckner.

@Helico-pterFunk

all these award shows f**k this up every year and all it does is hurt feelings of families and friends

Matthew Perry BEEN honored NUMEROUS times on almost ALL these shows

and you forget young promising actors who dies tragically?

Maybe just do it online so its easier to update and amend.

Because its getting inexcusable who they "accidently" leave off.

Agreed.

It’s a really tricky balance with the number of talented people passing annually. Especially the omissions, as you noted.

Hell ... if I ever even won an award at one of those events, I would be extra cautious and just thank everyone involved in the project. Every last person as a collective whole. Knowing myself I would be talking too quickly and fucking up the whole speech anyhow. Forehead all shiny under them lights.

EXACTLY

I UNDERSTAND its tricky

but its one of those things if you get wrong?

that damage aint even worth the effort.

Is it really hard to got Variety Hollywood Reporter LA Times NY TImes etc and say please send us EVERY actor who died in the last 12 months?

You could PROBABLY google or AI that list.

Thanks for the info. Been meaning to check out season 4 for awhile.

Caught up on seasons 1 - 3 after the fact over the course of a few months.

I didn’t think paramount plus was worth it; I might have to rethink that…
You would think so given that Paramount owns all of the Viacom channels, but the problem is that they only have a small fraction of the content library for any of those channels available on Paramount+. So for example, let's say you want to watch the classic MTV docuseries True Life, well Paramount+ may only have seasons 21 and up and even those seasons may not include every episode. It sucks because they have some of the most recognizable brands in basic cable but for some reason the content library is really haphazard. It's really only good for Taylor Sheriden series and Star Trek stuff. Not to mention, Paramount+ took a page out of HBO Max's book and started removing original series from their library as a tax dodge and to keep from paying talent royalties. They did a few seasons where they took original casts of The Real World and got them back together for a brief time under the same roof but once the show got cancelled they wiped it from the library.

welp i guess no need to get them then!! But I will say MAX, has all the original series of HBO on it!! shit is great; from the Sopranos to the WIRE and everything in between!! MAX is great, coupled that with HULU and Disney and thats a cant miss!
