Wtf is up with Caleb's accuracy? Smh! He's better than this.
Quick assist for you fam, this team has quit on Eberflus…..From third and four, to third and nine because of a damn penalty
and then a sack
Story of the season
We don't even have 150 yards of offense...we aren't even playing against good defenses
Waldron and Eberflus need to be fired
Quick assist for you fam, this team has quit on Eberflus…..
Special Teams coach Richard Hightower.Who would you have as the coach getting rid of Flus midseason?
That's the problem. You can get rid of Waldron, but nobody else on the staff is qualified for head coach.
Special Teams coach Richard Hightower.
Washington or HightowerWho would you have as the coach getting rid of Flus midseason?
Washington or Hightower
I think Flus will finish the year. How would that improve the team?
You might as well let him finish the year
If you get rid of Flus and Waldron that would be the epitome of stupidity and you're hurting Caleb and a bunch of other young players which could be long term.
You fire a coach midseason, for the betterment of the team
I heard they interviewed him for OC though. If they wouldn't hire him for that, I doubt they'd hire him for HC.The fucked up thing is while Kliff Kingsbury wasn't actually the OC at USC when Caleb was there,he knows him and would know how to design an offense around him. For familiarity sake, he pretty much HAS to be the Bears next HC.
His two worst decision was keeping Flus and building that O line. Other than that he's been ok but he definitely deserves the heat he's getting right now. His main priority is developing Caleb and he's failed him with the coaching decisions and how he's built that O line.and do you guys trust Poles to draft three players in the top 40-45?

I do.
The team has talent but they are making mistakes and not being put in the best positions to succeed. I blame coaching.
Poles focused on weapons last year. He could've sign a decent vet like Connor Williams instead of bargain shopping. Even still, I didn't expect the line to look this bad. You bargain shop for depth, not starters. I get that he was trying to put Caleb in the best position to succeed, but the damn kid has been running for his life most games due to the shitty line play.
Poles should feel some heat but I don't think his job is on the line. Flus on the other hand, appears to be as good as gone. Coaches will be lining up to coach Caleb and even if Allen isn't here next year, Moore, Kemet, Odunze and Swift are good weapons to have once the line is straightened out.
Pace was given time and drove the team into the ground with his win now decisions. I can clearly see that Poles has replenished talent. The offensive line needs more talent. I expect it to be addressed this off season.
I also have a hard time seeing the Bears win another game this year with the injuries and coaching.
Caleb was a WANT, not a need. Was he SO locked in on Caleb that he didn't even entertain offers for the 1st pick? I have heard some pundits say that passing up on qb's in consecutive drafts is a fireable offense. Also, Fields was taking too long to develop considering the money he'd be due soon. That may be an argument, but aren't the Bears paying Keenan Allen, Nate Davis and Everett the TE about $40 million combined? The could have rolled with Fields another year or signed Russell Wilson-only making about 3 mil this season and had the Bears on his list and fortified the team elsewhere. His two worst decision was keeping Flus and building that O line. 2 of the best players on the team-Kmet and Jaylon Johnson were Ryan Pace picks.what's been Poles biggest free agent offensive line signing...Nate fucking Davis
Velus Jones a 28 year wide receiver with no hands....hell no, I'm not sure how you dudes trust him to do anything
The best thing he's done as a GM is benefitting from an organization even more fucked up...Carolina
He drafted a project in the third round for a position of need
and a fuckin punter
and a wide receiver after trading for Kenan
