Who knows? Also have to wonder how having Velus Jones Jr. making the team and then immediately Velus’ing it up in week 1 impacted plans for Scott and Herbert, especially Herbert. Remember the plan was to get Jones touches as a RB and those had to come at someone else’s expense, and then when he Velus’ed his way out of a roster spot, the inept Eberflus/Waldron team could not seemingly adjust the RB plan they’d had in place since training camp. Here's what's interesting. We have seen none of WR Tyler Scott and Khalil Herbert was woefully underused. What if Brown believed both should get more touches in the "o" but Waldron thought differently?
Tweet of the day:
We saw Travis Homer, who is good for a couple of things like pass blocking, play while Herbert got no time so Waldron definitely had favoritesHere's what's interesting. People always spoke of Waldron using 2 and 3 TE sets which we really haven't seen much of. Someone who watched Sunday would have to tell me but did Mercedes Lewis play Sunday? He is noted for how well he can block. Waldron could have played 2 TEs and had Kmet running routes while Lewis blocked and helped out the O-lineWhy did we get Gerald Everett again?
Waldron didn't even know how to get the ball to Cole Kmet
I know that the team hired Trestman when they could have had Bruce Arians. Difference was that Trestman was cool with allowing the GM at the time, Phil Emery, dictate who he hired as DC, Mel Tucker. We're great at getting it wrong
In the future the bears should do the opposite of what they want to do
I'd like to see the list of people we bypassed
We still don't know what Allen Williams did? Was he on Chaturbate or an escort site on Bears computers?Man, I was listening to a pod and they just mentioned all the assistants that Flus has had in just three years
and they brought up Alan Williams
I forgot all about that shit...
Yoooooo....they let the shit go around for days that Bears offices were raided. Instead of just leaking it with a reporter or Sheffter it was inappropriate activity as soon as that shit started. They let that shit bubble for days like he was Nino Brown.
This front office is a mess and has been.
They should have had Velus practicing at rb since OTA's.Who knows? Part of Sean McVays tree. Was a clusterf@#k here under Frank Reich so this is his first real opportunity in my opinion. I think you guys will run the ball more to take the heat off of Caleb@BlackGoku thoughts on Thomas Brown?
Thanks. That's what I'm reading as well. It'll be interesting, just hoping we somehow find a way to not get demolished by GB this Sunday.Part of Sean McVays tree. From the Bears msg board:
FWIW. Dunno how much I trust these bag of air dudes like Silvvy and Kap though:
Add Greg Roman, the Chargers OC, to the list of guys who interviewed for the job along with Thomas BrownYeah I think sometimes they been on that bullshyt
just to likes and clicks for the social media content.
I believe that Cronin chick says this story has been fabricated.
All I know, Bears interviewed WAS-Kingsbury, Falcons & Bucs current OC
but these idiots choose Waldron.
I remember Seahawks fans told us about how lame Waldron was an OC,
just like the some of us BEAR fans told Raider fans about how Getsy SUX.
He played well in Tennessee for Mike Vrabel. He also may need to retire. He took that time off last season due to his mother's passing and he hasn't been right since. They're releasing players that should have never made the roster in the first place. You can't make this shit up
Rumors were Nate Davis was lazy and didn't practice hard last season...and you brought him back again despite fucking sucking and being injury prone. So much for holding players accountable.
The crazy shit is that we're desperate for bodies at the offensive line now, so how is it helping Caleb? Are Teven, Braxton Jones and Darnell healthy?
This franchise...it's the top down starting with the ownership. We're like the Cowboys and Raiders...and until there's a change like Washington it's going to remain the same.
That HBO shit where they can't curse like it's the 1950's and it's on CBS
Not even talking to Jim Harbaugh to determine his interest level
