We needed a punter and Taylor is 3rd in punts in the league

I cant complain about him, 21 of those punts where inside the 20.

I agree Flus and Waldron gotta go, not midseason tho.

I had to turn the game off, I seriously couldnt take it. Shit is beyond heartbreaking and absolutely ridiculous.

We needed a punter, but who would rather take a punter over a serviceable lineman on the offensive or defensive lines?

Do you know if the Chiefs, Steelers or Ravens have good punters?

The Steelers are starting a rookie center :smh:

what's been Poles biggest free agent offensive line signing...Nate fucking Davis

Velus Jones a 28 year wide receiver with no hands....hell no, I'm not sure how you dudes trust him to do anything

The best thing he's done as a GM is benefitting from an organization even more fucked up...Carolina
And usually we're the fucked up organization that's on the wrong side of a trade i.e. Mitch Trubisky trade, the Jay Cutler trade, the Rick Mirer trade, the Greg Olson trade, etc.
But hey Kyler Gordon is his pick, as is Gervon Dexter, he signed TJ and Edmunds along with Andrew Billings.

Coincidentally Billings is making less money for the contracts that he's signed with us than the money that we paid out yearly for the likes of Jimmy Graham and Trey Burton. Let's not forget the 9 million guaranteed to a place kicker or 18 million to Mike Glennon.

As for the Velus Jones pick everyone makes bad picks. We can agree that the 49ers have a good front office. They still fucked up in trading all of those picks for Trey Lance and in the same round of the same draft that Velus Jones was taken they took a WR who has 1 catch for 10 yards for his career.

I think I am getting comfortable with the fact we aint never going to have an O line that will keep any QB we have of they're backs.

Evaluation stage ?
Oh this guy is off his fucking meds !!!
He should be fired just for saying that dumb shit.
We are half way through the season and he is talking about evaluating a 4-5 record and last in the north.
SMFH !!!

Chris Morgan, the O line coach, should be gone as well as Waldron. Morgan hasn't developed anyone well in time that hes been with the team. Eberflus isn't likely going anywhere right now even though I wouldn't mind seeing him get dismissed with Thomas Brown taking over

Not just #79 but what the hell was #71 and #65 doing as well.
:fuckyousay:
This play further proves my point, that this offense doesn't practice efficiently. They are literally
going through the motion of blocking. Whole offensive coaches are trash.

Whats crazy this is the same variation play that the 49ers, Rams and even fudgepackers use
and yet the BEARS cant do shyt correct at all. It goes towards bad coaching by Waldron.

The media is out for blood and no matter what Poles says or does, the entire coaching staff needs to go. Yea the offensive line talent isn't where it should be but the clips posted are damning.

Poles needs to stop bargain bin shopping and get some real talent on the offensive line. I'd like for Jenkins to stay, then they could focus on another starting guard and center.

If Flus thinks this is bad, just wait until after the Packers game. Flores has no chill when it comes to blitzing so the Vikings game will only be worse.

Caleb just needs to survive this season and Poles better address the line.

This is still minding blowing damn near a decade later, Glennon was so trash that Nagy was forced to play the QB that Fox didnt want and had no say in selecting….Parkey’s name still makes my blood presser rise, this franchise…… :smh: .

ON A POSITIVE…. the field looks decent thru 10 games and the last two season has held up thru the regular season (if you’ve watched the Bears long enough since they moved from turf to grass in the 90’s the Park Department’s adherence to keeping the playing field decent beyond say, early October, has been…well, damn near nothing) so maybe it gets to December again and it’s not the equivalent of playing in a dirt lot?

Fuck….this is how bad it is that I’m talking about the goddamn grass as a positive. :smh:

They're tired of his bullshit. For two years he displaced blame while talking about this dumb ass HITS principle. Then suddenly he's forced too. Even though dude has lost five games where the chance to win was well over 90% in the fourth.

It's sharks in water right now and the players were the ones who removed the bandaid.

Just like this afternoon for them to come out and say there won't be any changes at QB :smh:

It's like how fuckin clueless can you be? Did you just try and throw Caleb under the bus? That's not the change people want.

....and right on time of me posting that, Jered Verse who we should have considered at nine makes a play :smh:

He's probably winning rookie defensive player of the year.

So yeah, Poles could have passed up both the offensive and defensive rookies of the year :smh:

Here's what's interesting. We have seen none of WR Tyler Scott and Khalil Herbert was woefully underused. What if Brown believed both should get more touches in the "o" but Waldron thought differently?

From the Bears msg board:

Waldron didn’t have a clue on hot route structure especially against overload blitzes.

NE played a ton of cover 2 and single high yet he didn't target them over the middle, didn't press the seam, or the single high safety to open up the middle.

He never had a hot route directly behind the blitz which often leads to big chunks.

He likes slow developing routes outside the numbers. I watched it all day long Sunday. Plus, the wind was gusting so pushing the ball outside was not the way to go.

They haven't targeted the middle of the field since London.

That's ridiculous.

Bye, bye and please take Eberflus with you to the gallows.

He was inept

...and ESPN and Dan O pointing out routes that didn't make sense where we had three and four receivers in the same area.

Never used the tight end or screens like we should.

Didn't have Caleb doing three step drops.
