They are spread out through 3 recruiting classes and will still have fourteen 5 stars on the roster next spring. Bama have lost over double the 5 stars UGA have since the 2021 recruiting class and will have around sixteen 5 stars on their spring roster. Georgia, Bama and Ohio State have an embarrassment of riches. Texas and Oregon are starting to join the party. Smoke Bouie never wore a UGA uniform(TexasA&M transfer). A lot of those on that list been with the program for 2 and 3 years and never played a meaningful snap.

2021 Brock Vandagriff
2022 Marvin Jones Jr
2023 A.J. Harris
2021 Nyland Green
2021 Xavien Sorey

This actually helps teams like Georgia stack more talent. The 25 scholarships limit is not active and schools can sign as many as they can until they reach 85 total.

These were essentially 15 players who were not good enough to play. They just freed up scholarships allowing UGA to get their hands on more elite talent

He ain't that good of a passer. 65 percent passing was good enough for 6th place in the SEC........playing behind that monster line. He is a running QB who will get his bell rung when they play Michigan.

From what I've seen of him he seems to have decent placement, esp. on the deep balls.

I expect him to hit at least a few big plays (and this is coming from a Mich fan). Harbaugh gotta prove to me that he can adequately prep a team for a bowl game, and the last few times we played Bama it was UGLY.

The problem for Michigan is that they are not the most explosive team. They like to play in a box and that could favor Bama

..they can be (explosive), but they def play to establish the run first. You're right though: if it's a game where Harbaugh & Co. want to line up and run right at Bama (like EVERYONE expects), it might be a long day.

We should def try to establish the run, but not go overboard to our detriment. Gotta mix it up and have some creativity up our sleeves to keep them off balance.

I am pulling for Michigan but you are spot on. That’s my only concern. Would they become to conservative

41-3 at halftime, people gonna overlook all those missing FSU players and just start yelling "SEE I TOLD YALL FSU DIDN'T BELONG IN THE PLAYOFFS"
Yeah man, this is definitely not our team. And I don't blame those players for getting ready for the draft or going into the portal, this game really doesn't mean anything. Im just glad Patrick Peyton decided to take his name out of the portal. But that's ok, we will be back next year and for years to come. Norvell does a really great job recruiting.

would they really have made that much of a difference in this game?

I was going to say FSU full team probably would have still gotten beat but not this bad, on two of those touchdowns the FSU defense wasn't even trying to tackle

I still think FSU earned the right to be in the playoffs, even if they would have ultimately been blown out by whoever they played.
FSU clearly did not want to play today's game and motivation (or a lack thereof) goes a long way in playing football.
