Bears line of scrimmage on both sides is trash.
Caleb sacked 7 times, 3 of em was his fault and OLINE is trash
I have never seen an nfl oline purposely miss blocks.
Defense got exposed big time, niners QB purdy 80% of his passes.

Cole Kmet is a trash as cac boy TE
4 win and 13 losses here we come.

If Fields was and Getsy are ass,how come Moore and Kmet had their best seasons with them?

Welp, that wasn't great.

I guess at the end of the day you are what your record is and this is a results-driven league. No need to put the cart before the horse: whatever changes ultimately come at the end of the season will be obvious.

I don't think Kmet is ass at all, but he's forced to block more with our ass offensive line...and our offenses coaches forget about Kmet

I still want to know if Waldron used the TE so much, why the fuck did we need Gerald Everett? He has seven catches for the year.

It does seem that OCs forgot about TE Kmet but he isnt the best route runner, yet. He has improved in recent years
but he doesnt get enough separation off LBs/Safeties that well. Kmet main problem is that he doesnt change his nuisances;
when he runs his routes. He is too literal with his movement off the ball. CAC boy need to take a magic class or practice how
to be deceptive with his footwork. Also, the ineptness of OLINE has rubbed off on KMET. As a Tight end, he missed over 5 blocks on run/pass plays. Especially in the first drive at the 2nd and 7 at the 26 yard line in the 1st qtr, in which Center #65 Shelton and
#85 kmet whiffed on a two blocks for a screen pass to Swift.

This is why BEARS need actual coaches, who can coach. Its the small non-attention to details that FUKKS up the BEARS team.

Wow.

I was listening to Jason Goff’s podcast from last week and he was going over the body language from Poles in that press conference after the Eberflus firing, and noted how he looked like a mere spectator while boss hog Warren was running the show.

Bruh the Bears have a Black President and GM, they have black HC, OC, DC and special teams coach. Then their starting QB is black, I don't think I've ever seen this in the NFL.. :eek2:

Poles looked like a hostage up there, ready to say “fuck this” and walk off that stage straight to the airport to get a flight back to Kansas City.

That worked for a former Bears head coach…….

Other than bamboozling a former Panthers GM, what has Poles really done? He mishandled both lines. Had too many throwaway picks also.

Because Warren also knows Poles is putting his job at stake.

He had a couple of years to improve the team.

After all according to him, this was the deepest offensive line he's put together...that's why Caleb might be getting the sack record.

The turmoil that had been building with Flus.

Also, was making Thomas Brown the head coach the best decision and not Hightower? Now he's on the field and his attention is divided...and we saw the first half....again. It might have been an effort to just eliminate or determine if Brown is a coach material, but is it the best for our team and Caleb?

I heard today that Poles has a four year deal, and he has a year left..and he hasn't done enough to warrant an extension IMO

Yeah, the others in this thread are a bigger fan of him than me for some reason.

His best move was the obvious one to me, not drafting a 5'6 QB and giving Justin another chance while still on his rookie deal.

And it looks like we will have another top 10 draft pick, maybe even top five this year. Should we trust Poles to make that pick?

In three years we still have a bottom ten offensive line and the only starter you can say we have for next year is Darnell.

...and I'm still looking at how we traded a second round pick for a wide receiver Pittsburgh didn't want who wasn't in the last year of his contract.

Fair. Passing on Carter and the Claypool trade are two absolute misses. But, the credit for the bamboozling must be given but what has it accomplished so far?

Also, we have to start looking at Edwards, Sweat and Edmunds

Edwards has been solid but played better last year. D Line regressing has probably helped that.
Sweat might have just been paying for a check, injuries or we need someone opposite him. He's looked pretty average.
Edmunds has flopped. Last year he was forcing turnovers at least for his uneven play. Sanborn makes more plays.

Byard has been good and a upgrade over Jackson, but he's in his 30's

Obviously both the -"o" and "d" lines need uprading...badly. However, if we can do that via free-agency, I wouldn't hate this. A 3 headed monster of Jeanty, Swift and RoJo to go along with the receivers? Fuck, that's nice. It's not a batshit crazy idea. If we get Ben Johnson, he knows about 2-headed monster backfields.

Jeanty is putting up good stats and seems to be a good talent but if the Bears address all of the offensive and defensive line needs in FA, they would be on a one way trip salary cap hell. Again.

They need depth and more starting talent on both. They are not in a position to draft a RB in lieu of a DE or OT.

After the last game, Braxton is a depth level OT to me now. If the opportunity is there to upgrade via the draft, it should be taken.

With the talent on this team and the draft position they are likely to be in, there is no reason for the Bears to be drafting in the top ten again after the 2025 season.

We cooked fam. 2 4th down tries, we run with a speed back??? Im legit over the season and if Poles leaves and we gotta start over with another GM/coach combo. Ill lose interest again. Stay the fuckin corse, cause ownership meddling has always been the fuckin issue here.

If we aren't able to get a pass rush, you would think we would blitz since the cover 2 is allowing them to shred our secondary
For real. I'm of the mind that no matter what, you have to get pressure at least part of the time. You can't be predictable or let any opposing QB feel comfortable back there.

Especially a QB like Darnold, who you know a few hits will have him shook and impact his play. This dude Washington seems lost at times. And don't get me started about 3rd downs.
