Last season, Jake Brendel was.....good enough
Nothing special, but he was serviceable
And yet he was still better than McGlinchy though, LOL
Brendel just needs to hit the weight room to get a little stronger

Unfortunately.....
I think they will trade Aiyuk next offseason
Because we just can't afford to pay...
Deebo + Kittle + McCaffrey + Juice + Trent Williams
Then give a mega contract to Bosa + try to extend Aiyuk
And thats just the players on offense

Teams call and ask about players all the time. It's part of sports. It doesn't mean they are available. I'm sure some teams have called and asked about Nick Bosa also. Lynch probably answered the phone, said no, then hung up. End of story.

Nah fam, Aiyuk is gone after this season
Lynch is just feeling out the market in advance
To get a general idea of what teams are proposing

They'll have more money after the season to extend Bosa, plus Aiyuk by simply backloading his contract. Plus they can move on from a guy like Juice to save more money. The salary cap will go up also so it's ways they can make it happen. Not to mention Trent Williams is already hinting at retiring. I trust Paragg and crew to work it out.

I feel what you're saying
But they really don't have the money fam
We just can't re-sign everyone
They already had to restructure a bunch of guys this off season
Just to come up with enough cap space for Hargrave, etc, etc

We have a 3 year window until we have to pay Purdy or Lance
Thats when some really hard decisions will have to be made
And I think thats when Trent will retire
Because franchise QB's now a days are asking for ridiculous salaries

Next offseason it is:
Bosa + Aiyuk + Juan Jennings
Then the season after that is:
Hufunga + Aaron Banks + Demo Lenoir
Then after that comes:
Paying either Purdy/Lance + Drake Jackson
Plus.....possibly giving 3rd contracts to guys like Kittle, Deebo, Warner, Greenlaw, Ward

We legit have just 3 more years left to get back to the Superbowl
Then shit gets infinitely harder
