Kinlaw came into the NFL, raw with no pass rush moves
But we said to ourselves.....
"no problem at least he's big enough to stop the run & take on double teams"
"and eventually he can learn technique along the way"

But here's the problem...
1. He's had to lose weight every year, to take stress off his bum ass knees
Problem is, now he's too light to hold up to a double team inside

2. He's had to have some kind of surgery and/or rehab every offseason
Problem is, he hasn't had the opportunity to practice pass rush moves & improve his technique

So the question is.....what position even fits him now?
Do we keep him inside or play him outside on the edge?
What is he even good at ??? :dunno:

To me he's still big enough to play inside. This off-season he finally isn't rehabbing which means he gets to train and work on his strength and technique. The technique part is what is needed most for Javon. When I watch him play he tends to get very high, almost standing straight up at times. In the trenches we know its about leverage and at 6'5" tall he can get moved very easily.

His role would need to change though. Can he handle a double-team, maybe not. But I can easily see him playing 2-gap or being a 1-gap penetrator.

This is going to be a telling season for him. He's definitely a rotational playing coming off the bench so he has to make all of his snaps count.

Don't feed the Rappapoor bear. The National Media has been talking about trading Lance before the season ended. He's just posting that for clicks and views.
