My 49ers Brothers,
The first preseason game, we can throw that away!!..
...Man, that was awful on both sides...Damn that 2nd string O-line was trash and they were getting trey killed back there!!...This wasn't a good look for players that's trying to make the team or trying to be good backups!!......
I hope the last two preseason games they will show better improvement!!

That game shows you how top heavy the 49ers roster is. All of the backups are extremely young guys that don't have a lot of playing experience. The team will look 1000x different when the big dogs step on the field.
Trey will be fine. It's his first time playing in a year and his supporting cast was the before mentioned backups. Despite that he still had an average QB game.

OK I feel better after watching it again.
Looks better from the all-22 angles.
I'll bump my grade up to a B-
and like AwwShit just said, it was his 1st game in a long ass time. He really settled in I say.
What I'm noticing about Trey is that he's a true rhythm passer. It takes a bit to find his stride and get going. The difference between the 1st quarter of the game (no rhythm) and the second quarter (in rhythm) are night & day. If you re-watch the game starting at the 2nd quarter you'll have an entirely different outlook of his performance.
As well all know he's still young. He needs time. More time than others because of his setbacks. However, once he gets it things can look very good. That rollout to the right, jump pass back to the left, in the 2nd quarter was some good shit. Thats a highlight play, but no one will mention that.

You hit the nail on the head. He's getting roasted simply because he's a black quarterback. You mentioned Alex Smith, look at the years we just sat through with James Garropolo and him getting excuses.
Gone are the days of people saying black QB's can't handle the position. They have more indirect ways of putting them down.
