Let’s hope you’re right

Every attempt to blame the victim has turned out to be a lie

LIE: "There was a string of burglaries in the neighborhood, Arbery matched the description"....Police confirmed this is not true. Last burglary was about 8 weeks ago when a battery pack was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. So much for the "string of burglaries".
LIE: "He was seen running from a house"....He was out jogging for his routine workout while checking out an empty construction site
LIE: "He was wearing cargo pants and timberland boots"... In the vid, he's wearing sneakers, shorts, and a tee. Common jog apparel
LIE: "I shot him when he attacked"...The world saw the vid of him attempting to avoid the murderer clan that boxed him in before execution

You can't argue "self-defense" or "citizen's arrest gone awry" after violently chasing a person with a shotgun after boxing them in a corner ON VIDEO.

They have NO defense. None.

i'd be surprised if they don't plea guilty. But we'll see.

Like that guy said in the video earlier, if they are able to find a sympathetic jury...(and i imagine they will since this guy is so "well known" in the community, they may be able to plead down to a lesser charger like manslaughter...we've seen enough of these cases before where we think it's an open and shut case and he gets off...i wonder if they judge will go and hug the father and son in this case like they did in botham jean's case....im sorry im a little jaded after what ive seen in the past...

Georgia prosecutor called Ahmaud Arbery shooting a ‘justifiable homicide’

arbery-blur-1.jpg

A Georgia prosecutor who recused himself from the Ahmaud Arbery case waited to bow out until after he told cops the killing was “justifiable homicide” — and sent them a five-point letter outlining why the suspects should not be charged, according to reports.

District Attorney George Barnhill told police after the Feb. 23 fatal shooting that there was insufficient evidence to charge the two white men, Gregory McMichael, 64, and his 34-year-old son, Travis McMichael, after they chased down Arbery and gunned him down with a shotgun, according to a statement released Saturday by the Glynn County Police Department.

“Detectives met with DA George Barnhill Sr. of the Waycross Judicial Circuit the following day and reviewed their findings with him,” said the statement, published Saturday by The Brunswick News. “DA Barnhill, Sr., advised the detectives before noon on Feb. 24, that the act was justifiable homicide and for detectives to continue their investigation and provide him with lab reports and any additional information.”

Barnhill recused himself from the investigation on April 6, because former cop Gregory McMichael was also a retired investigator in his office — but not until after he received the autopsy report on Arbery’s death and wrote a letter to police explaining why the McMichaels should not be charged, the report said.

“In this letter, DA Barnhill, Sr., notes, ‘I appreciate there is immediate pressure on your department as to the issue of arrest,'” the statement said. “DA Barnhill, Sr.’s letter makes five points regarding the case and concludes that there was insufficient probable cause to issue arrest warrants at that time.”

The case was later turned over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, a state agency, after cellphone video of Arbery’s fatal shooting went public, prompting Gregory and Travis McMichael’s arrests last week on murder charges.

The video of the shooting shows the McMichaels block Arbery’s path as he jogs. Travis McMichael then gets out of the truck with a shotgun and the two men struggle. Arbery is shot during the struggle, stumbles off, and drops to the ground mortally wounded.

According to the Glynn County police account, officers had received two calls, including a 911 call from Gregory McMichael.

Officers arrived at the scene at 1:45 p.m. and took the McGregorys in for questioning. At 3:30 p.m., police sought the advice of the Brunswick District Attorney’s Office which launched an investigation but determined the two white men were not a flight risk and released them.

Glynn police conceded they did not deem it necessary to transfer the case to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation at that point because none of the officers involved were on the force between 1982 and 1989, when Gregory McMichael was with the department.

On Saturday, Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr said he would probe the handling of the case.

he knew the guy was a former investigator before he even started so he should have recused himself then, not give a report that he knew might influence others that saw it and then recuse himself

FYI. White people all over Brunswick stopped and looked at that house. It was strange. It had no windows or doors. People all over the neighborhood went in it. Real estate agents told us they went in it. And several said they even saw the McMichaels. Except they were all white.

BTW, @ 4:00. I thought he was wearing work boots.

Oh so they didn’t call the police before pursuing him, they called the police while they were out with guns drawn already drawn. They made the call after they had tried to stop him once, he didn’t and they then were stopped in the middle of the road. I see the guy in the video is trying to use that “is that a hammer he threw in the road” line I’d saw them use before. I saw 2 objects in that area, so where do they think he had these objects, it’s already been proven he wasn’t wear cargo shorts or heavy work boots

After the video of him at the site was released whites flooded the comments saying they do the same things. Especially when jogging , they stop just to see the construction. It’s a natural curiosity. He obviously didn’t take anything and even if he did I still don’t see what the fuck that has to do with killing an unarmed Man. There is no justification behind this shit at all!!!

I knew that surveillance video was the difference. Those rednecks clung onto that shit with everything they had, and now, coupled with those BS police reports, and the glue of that shitty Southern Georgia Law OCGA 17-4-60, I can't see how they'll do any time once this gets to court.

It's gon be vigilante self defense that took a wrong turn.

Fucking fuckity fuck! :smh::smh::smh::smh:

I think the thing that should be concentrated on is that the confrontation was unnecessary no matter what he was doing. Just call the pigs and keep it moving.

Seems like they will fuck this up like the Trayvon case. Because at its heart, this is another bait case. When cacs go in armed looking to bait a reaction and then claim self-defense. They basically want the worst outcome to happen. They itching for it.

This is going to the box. If the prosecutor don't approach this the right way, these cacs will walk. Watch the prosecutors close on this one.

Atlanta mayor calls Ahmaud Arbery shooting a ‘lynching,’ blames Trump

racist_text-investigation.jpg

Atlanta’s mayor on Sunday called the shooting death of unarmed black jogger Ahmaud Arbery “a lynching” — and tried to point the finger at the president.

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms condemned Arbery’s Feb. 23 shooting death by two white men in Georgia on CNN’s “State of the Union” which made nation-wide news following the release of a cell phone video of the incident, Fox News reported.

“It’s 2020 and this was a lynching of an African-American man. My heart goes out to the family,” the Democratic mayor said.

“With the rhetoric we hear coming out of the White House, many who are prone to being racist are given permission to do it in an overt way we wouldn’t see in 2020.”

President Trump, speaking on “Fox & Friends” on Friday, called Arbery’s death “a heartbreaking thing” and called the video “disturbing.”

“I looked at a picture of that young man,” Trump said, according to Fox. “I will say that he looks like a really good young guy.”

Ex-cop Gregory McMichael, 64, and his 34-year-old son, Travis, were charged with murder last week by state prosecutors, weeks after Arbery’s death.

The video shows a pickup truck driven my McMichael cut off Arbery as he jogs by. Travis McMichael then exits the truck with a shotgun and confronts Arbery. The two struggle over the weapons, and Arbery is shot and staggers away briefly before falling mortally wounded.

The McMichaels told police they believed Arbery was a burglar.

‘Also I hate to say this but with this video the “he was just out jogging” thing is gonna be something the defense uses against them too, he was seen walking up to the construction site and then once the guy across the street comes to the end of the road and makes that 911 phone call Ahmaud runs out of the building. His killing is still unjustified because there was no reason for those 2 cacs to grab their guns and chase him down

Just call the pigs and keep it moving.
Well remember they did call the pigs to come. The video shows the neighbor calling and police corroborated that call. Two squad cars were also shown in the video speeding by the construction house. So they’ll probably say “we did call the cops and were trying to slow him down...”

My question would then be, how exactly did Travis and Gregory get to Ahmad before the cops did.

if you go to the 3:00 mark you’ll see the guy on back of the truck talking to the police when they had stopped their truck in the road.

even if he did, so what.. young heads always fuck around in them homes under construction.

I was just peeping this show on netflix, and it opens up with a bunch of teens being chased out a home under
construction..

him being seen walking out a home under construction doesnt justify anything at all...

and thats if thats a legit video... there is no way to tell if that video wasnt recorded after the fact...

either way it was cold blooded murder and those pig skins need to be locked away for life

These people have strategically placed assets within the government that support their cause, this is why they are emboldened to do things like this. When Pres. Obama was in office, we had a huge number of these cases coming up, I believe he supported them. Pres. Obama and Kaepernick both had black fathers that abandoned them and were raised by white parents.

Here he is throwing a softball pitch to Gov. Nikki Haley to remove the Confederate flag from government property through his mass shooting event that killed nine people.

This sort of gives you a glimpse into how he thought about us. After this mass shooting, Pres. Obama appeared to be showing support for these terrorist attacks in the South by engaging in a similar strategy. It is a blatant racist mockery of us by appearing progressive on issues. Although he prosecuted Dylan Roof, the DOJ and the state did not pursue other participants or co-conspirators. Nor, did they identify the true motive for his mass shooting which was a terrorist act targeting me. He was appealing to these racist who understood this language to parlay other politicians into governorships in the South.

Pres. Trump has actively steered away from participating by openly repudiating the Harriet Tubman $20 bill and kneeling during the national anthem by another biracial, raised by white foster parents – Colin Kaepernick. This was a major infringement of our constitutional rights by the government to practice our religion without interference from the state.

Today we suffer from another filmed terrorist event in the South with a man just jogging. Emboldened by their support they are receiving from Pres. Obama who dog whistle to them through this progressive appearance on having Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill. Until we get to the bottom of what happened five years ago, we will continue to see these tragedies.

This is largely irrelevant but had Arbery ran over in that neighborhood before? Did they seem him look in there one time and then they decided if they saw him again they were going to come after him..if they can prove that then they can show premeditation...I'm pretty sure the prosecution will show what Shaun King was saying that multiple people have stopped by to look at the house

It's because he had to pass their house. All they had to do was get in the truck and follow him. They going to definitely use the 'slow him down' narrative, but those cacs really wanted to bust guns.

This going to be all about jury selection.
